  We hired Matt for an addition of a great room and kitchen remodel (which ended up being an entire ground floor remodel) and Wow! Matt and his team (big shout out to Tony!) truly took our dream and made it a reality. At first we had met with a few other contractors who came in with sky high quotes that would have given us a simple addition with basic materials. Matt came through with a MUCH better quote including premium finishes and some original ideas on top of what we had in mind that we NEVER thought would be possible on our budget. Through the whole process, Matt, his team and everyone he brought in were extremely professional, courteous, clean and talented. Every time a big part of the project was completed I was blown away with the results. We even threw a curveball when our second child came a week early, but they stepped up and got a ton of work done so we could return to a livable space. At the end of the day we got everything on our wish list and even some things we didn’t even think we could wish for! We could not be happier with the outcome of the project!   Very well! Dave showed up when he said he would, called when he was delayed. He was flexible with small changes, asked to make sure he was doing what I wanted and promptly addressed any concerns I had. He understood what work needed to be done for the quartz counter top installation. The back splash turned out very well and that was important to me. He was working a couple of other jobs at the same time, but that was OK because that allowed me time to tweek the back splash design after the counters were installed. The LED under, over and inside cabinet lighting was a custom job and Dave was flexible and did more than I expected on itshow more

  C&J did an incredible job completely gutting and remodeling our 1895 farmhouse. This was a huge 8-month job with the variety of complications and required changes an old house can throw at you; throughout the process Craig and Jerry offered excellent design suggestions, collaborated very well with our architects, worked diligently to stay on budget, and each day demonstrated craftsmanship and professionalism of the highest level.   , From start to finish, Dan stayed on top of the job. Bill Lake Homes only sells to dealers and builders. He recommended Dan He is a very experienced builder , and remodeler. He does the work, with a crew. He does not farm it out. He was a big help : from choosing the model ,ordering it, making changes, picking colors , and materials. He came up with ideas, we did not think of.. Any questions, we had , were answered within 24 hours , usually the same day. He takes pride in his work , and doesn't leave the job until you are happy.   Any time you build a house, you deal with weather elements, timing elements, and unexpected turn of events, all of which provide levels of stress. No matter what, we had faith in Dan Bie and his crew, and they delivered! Dan is a consummate craftsman, and does not do any job half-way. He is upfront about the fact that the job will be done right! We appreciated the fact that Dan was always up front. He and his crew were there when we expected them to be there. He explained the steps of a modular build to us, and involved us in all the decision-making in a most timely manner. Besides, he's a great guy, and his workers are professionals with great talents. We were really hands-on - not in the building per se, but in being part of the construction "brain". We served as our own "general contractor" for the early part of the project (new well, excavation, foundation, septic system, etc.) but Dan gave us the names of contractors that he trusted, and that were also well-priced and professional. Everyone who has seen our house has not believed it is modular construction. The custom design work - both inside and outside - has made that special difference.
