In spite of my steaming the carpet, using rug deodorizer, and and hiring professional in house cleaners, the odor still remained especially during humid and wet days. Tim brought my carpet to his location, processed it through a soak to remove animal residue, repaired a section where the backing was worn and returned my carpet looking like new and smelling wonderful! You can clean some mattresses with a carpet cleaner that has an upholstery attachment. Mattresses made out of memory foam or other foam generally should not be cleaned with a carpet cleaner, although many traditional spring mattresses can be cleaned this way.
