Highly knowledgeable, caring, good people who provide excellent service for an excellent price. Huge difference from the well/water company we used before, which was unable to find our problems in a system they'd installed. Hawk found issues, rectified them, and made our lives much better. They are very responsive to service calls, and on top of that they are kind and compassionate - really good people. I know I'd have no hesitation giving them my house key if I had to be away when a service call was needed. They are THE BEST.

They did the well for our house and took the well down to the deepest they could before going to a larger pump size. Smart. We also had them drill a return well for our open loop geo-thermal heating and air conditioning system. The return well can't take the estimated return quantity of the water as estimated so it overflows onto the ground. That has always made me nervous, but it works fine. It just gushes into the woods and is absorbed into the ground. Never freezes. I wish I had done a closed loop geo thermal. But that's really a problem due to lack of experience by the geo thermal system installers, not the drillers fault. (Appolo Heating of Schenectady put in the geo thermal system due to their releationship with our builder. AZtech in Balston Spa is the local experts in geo thermal systems). Explanation, a little off topic: I believe it is costly to constantly run the pump into the geo thermal system just to return it back to the ground. A closed loop system, while slightly less efficient than an open loop system, costs less to pump the liquid in a circle rather than constantly pumping fresh water from the well. Hawk helped steer us toward the open loop system but ultimately the Geo Thermal installer was responsible for it. I give high marks all around to Hawk. I had Hawk quote a water filtration system to remove iron bacteria and I wish I had hired them for this project. I didn't hire Hawk as I got a much better quote elsewhere (25% lower). HOWEVER, the person I hired low balled the price and it ended up the system cost just as much in the end when he had to add on extra equipment that wasn't in the original quote. So I wish I had stayed with Hawk. I feel bad about that.

These folks are excellent. Very responsive to any concerns that we may have had. Always kept us current on the status of the project. All crew members and office staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. The work was completed efficiently and their fees are very competitive. The well ended up being 360 ft deep. The pump was installed and plumbed/wired into our house without issues. We are very satisfied.

Job went great. All the Hawk people were great to deal with. Good communication and nice work. And as a bonus the whole job came in about $2,200 under estimate even though they had to put in 100 feet more casing than estimated, but they hit water at about half the depth they expected to so it balanced out and then some. Well drilling took a full day. Trenching to the house, pump installation, etc., took about 4 hours. Very happy with the way the whole job went.

They were responsive and good communicators. The job was done well.

Hawk Drilling was on time and clean. One of the two wells they drilled for us offered a few challenges that they handled calmly and professionally. They were friendly and willing to explain the process and keep us updated.

In both cases the issues were unexpected emergenicies and they were here first thing in the morning to help resolve the issue.  the well pump was a saturday morning and there were no issues getting someone to help.  Today the issue turned out not be the well again but the tech helped us troubleshoot and made great suggestions on how we could resolve the issue and move forward.  We would not use another well drilling company, thanks for all you help!

Excellent company. I called them to replace an electric line, in frozen ground, to our well pump. Wish I had called them first, because the guy who told me we needed a whole new line was wrong. It just needed to be repaired at the well head, but I had Hawk's sub go ahead and do the excavation before their well guy come out to hook up the line. If I'd called Hawk first, it would've saved me a lot of $. That said, Hawk's price was less than half of the quote I got from the first guy. The unnecessary replacement of the line was NOT Hawk's fault. Everyone I dealt with at Hawk was professional and courteous. They showed up when promised, returned calls, did the work promptly and did a great job. Will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone!

This is a great company to work with. They are very knowledgable and helped us "well newbies" understand what we are getting ourselves into. The inspection and flow test were very thorough. The report was well-written and professional. We could not be happier with the process and results.

We needed a lot of work done to our existing well. We got a reasonable estimate from Hawk for the work and hired them to do the job. Everything went well without a hitch. Their staff was professional and did a good job. The actual bill was even a little less than their estimate. We were very pleased and will be hiring them again soon for another job.

Overall, everything went very well. I called to make an appointment for an estimate and someone was here within a day or two. Forgive me for forgetting names.
I had my estimate by phone within a couple of hours and a written version by email by the end of the day, which included estimates for a new well if the old one isn't salvageable for the long term.
The price was very competitive and was much and quot;firmerand quot; than another estimate I had gotten from a guy who left himself a dozen different ways to charge me more than the estimate.
When it came time to getting the work done, an appointment was made, and the crew showed up promptly as scheduled. They got right to work and did a masterful job of clearing around the casing, pulling out the pump, welding on the extension and getting it all put back together. When they were finished, I could not tell they had been there except for the pipe sticking up out of the ground. A very nice job indeed.
When all was said and done, they had some good news and some bad news for me, and I think I will opt to have a new well drilled next year. For now, I can get by, but to have the volume of water I would like, I will never get it out of my 80ft deep well, and it is too close to the house to get a rig in to deepen it.
The good news was that it was pretty clean and in good shape, and once the drought is over, it should go back to producing as it did before which was just about adequate.
