"May 22, 2017 Wonder Windows 634 South Ave. Rochester, NY 14620 Dear People: I am writing to commend to you the presentation, products, crew and workmanship of our recently-completed home window replacement project by Wonder Windows. We were originally referred to you by our neighbors at Silver Lake, NY, Patrick & Julie Bausch, 4112 Lakeside Ave., Silver Lake, NY 14549, on whose home you did a window replacement project, a few years ago. First, let me say that your Sales Representative, Michael Whaley, was very thorough in his demonstration and explanation of the features of the OKNA windows. From the beginning of his presentation, we were impressed with his understanding of the product, thorough discussion of its operation, and we were very pleased when he got to the price for our project. We are also very pleased with the products; triple-pane windows by OKNA, replacement shutters, replacement gable vents and replacement rear entry door. We are already appreciating the heat-deflecting effect of the low-E glass in the window units. The “new” appearance of our home, at each window, is pleasing, and it blends in well with our existing exterior siding and trim and our interior paint schemes. Most importantly, however, I want to take this opportunity to say that we were extremely impressed with your crew, Bill Sr. & Bill Jr. Quagiata, assisted on one day by Scotty & Paul. The Quagliatas were very professional; on-time, careful and thorough in their work and very accommodating to our questions and concerns, throughout the project. They were all meticulous in their workmanship, especially when some of the prescribed (20+) openings in our thirty-seven year old home had deteriorated, or weren’t quite “square”. Each of these very competent professionals went out of his way to ensure that everything was done perfectly. Throughout the four-day job, it seemed to us that were they handling our project as they might if they were actually working on their own homes. "The first problem with a basement water issue is getting your arms around the magnitude of the problem and what it is going to take to correct it. I invited Neil from Neverwet Basement Waterproofing to asses the situation in my 60 year old ranch basement. I feel Neil gave me a fair, honest and trustworthy evaluation of the situation. After major consternation I decided there was no way around the problem, it needed to be fixed. I went for the full recommended solution: New complete indoor drain replacement, new sump pump, trench and waterproof of the exterior walls, add an interior white Dry Shield and install (4) glass block windows. This was a $16K project but we are now comfortable that we have gotten our money's worth. The work site leader, Kevin, is very competent and very easy to work with on a daily basis. My wife and I were constantly updated on a daily basis of what was going to be going on. I was home to watch the progress and constantly checked with Kevin on small details. I would suggest that I am a tough grader but Kevin resolved every little detail to my satisfaction. I can't say enough positive about the work crew either. They are very knowledgeable, conscientious, courteous and friendly. They worked very hard and also did a solid clean up job at the end of each day. Overall, this really isn't a project you want to run into. I had let the problem fester for several years but if for nothing else, do it for your personal health. If you are in this situation, I think that Neverwet is the team you want in your home. "This company is amazing. Steve made the process so smooth, and I had no worries at all. The crew who installed the windows are incredible. Very professional and friendly, and know what they are doing. They replaced 3 picture windows that were over 30 years old, and of course they ran into a few problems. They did not miss a beat, they knew what needed to be done, and with no effort they had the problems fixed.
