JP Heating and Cooling installed our energy efficient furnace back in 2014. On one of the coldest days this year we lost heat. We called JP Heating and Cooling and they were able to come out look at our heater and fix the problem within 10min. We will be forever greatful for this company and we highly recommend them for your heating and cooling problems.

Excellent experience! Company was very straight forward and very personable during process. Spent a lot of time to explain all options with reasonable costs associated to work needed. Very thoughtful, very clean in area of work being installed. Very thoughtful of new line routing, etc. Explained all steps they were taking and reasons why. Very responsive and attentive while our system was down. Services performed: - Removal of old furnace and a/c coils and associated lines. - Installed new furnace/ humidifier/ filter cartridge/ A/C coil unit (turned out to be culprit for deteriorating furnace) along w/ custom ductwork modifications for new parts. - Update gas line connection. - Installed new PVC piping to exterior. - Installed new condenser, and line to drain. - New thermostat/ humidistat install. Want to reiterate that company was very personable and easy to talk to about the scope of work and to make sure we understood what and why!

I requested a quote from 3 professionals (through Angie's List) to have a Nest Thermostat and a Nest Protect smoke/CO detector installed; I waited for several days but no response so I reached out to the company that installed my HE furnace in 2016. I contacted Jim at JP Heating and Cooling LLC on 9/24 and requested a quote. I immediately received a response with a quote the same day and the next day on 9/25 I had both devices installed and set up. The only thing I needed to do was connect the thermostat to my Wi-Fi. Jim and son even cleaned up what small amount of debris that fell on the floor. You won't be disappointed if you need any work done related to Heating and Cooling. They are who I am calling!! They even made sure my paperwork was completed so I can receive an energy rebate through National Fuel. Excellent work

The installation went very well...Jim is his own boss and takes his work seriously. He was not in a hurry to finish my job so he could rush of to another, as I know some workers are forced to do so by their bosses. The cost was very reasonable for the work they performed. I respect a man who takes his time to do a job right the first time.

Very well , and I felt very confident the furnace was working very well when they were finished . Very nice , polite, Father and Son team . The filters they replaced were top notch filters and last very long before the need to change them . I felt the price of the job was reasonable due to the amount . The furnace was thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned .

They showed up on time for both estimate and install. Left basement swept clean and neatly installed replacement furnace and wifi thermostat. Very satisfied!

They put in a new air conditioner for us. The only thing I would say is the last couple of years when they came out to check the furnace and a/c they couldn't make the appointment. I had to call them to change the date, they didn't call me. This year and last they didn't show when I called and they said they got involved in an emergency and couldn't do it. Quality was excellent. When they left it was cleaner than when they started. We have had no issue with the a/c unit they installed. They clean up nice from where they work. The days that they come they are here i the discussed time frame. They were very professional. The one thing I liked about them is that instead of coming two different times to clean the furnace and the air, they come once. It saves me the hassle of having ti set up another appointment and having them come twice. The price is a bit higher because they do both.

Excellent. They were responsive when I called and came quickly. They arrived when they said they would and fixed the a/c unit.

Great. JP is a small family owned business, established for many years, and they worked diligently to get the job done despite the weather conditions. They took great care with keeping their work areas clean after the job was over and are very customer focused. The price was very competitive and I believe I got the quality that I was looking for.

Good. Took a while to trouble shoot the problem. They examined the whole system, cleaned everything - more than the first company we had out who told us we needed a new furnace. I think the first company was just unfamiliar with the brand of furnace and did not know the quirks or where to look. We should have called them to begin with since they installed it. We now know that not all furnaces are basically all the same. Lesson learned.

The week of Christmas a few of our guest rooms were not getting heat to the baseboards and the rooms were cold. We had family coming to stay with us and could not get the rooms to heat. I called JP and they were able to get to us the next day. As a relatively new homeowner I was did not really know much about my furnace. He took the time to explain the entire system to me while he tried to fix the problem. He ended up draining some of the piping to those rooms and removing some air in the system. This fixed the problem. We also needed our yearly tune-up which he did for us that night as well, again taking the time to explain everything he was doing. At the end he only charged us for the tune-up, and we had warm guest rooms for our family! It is nice to have a company like this that you can trust to give you their honest opinions without trying to take advantage of your inexperience. I will definitely be calling JP again for all of our HVAC needs.

The installation of our new furnace went extremely well. Once the offer was purchased we were immediately contacted by Jim to begin the assessment and installation of the new furnace. Jim and son performed all duties listed in the offer. They were polite, punctual and completed a very professional job. The job took 2 days to complete and we are very pleased with the results. Jim was able to reuse the existing air filter and humidifier and deemed it unnecessary to purchase new units. They even removed the old AC and provided recommendations about installing a new AC which we will look into next year. Jim also took care of the rebate form and all that was needed was to make copies for our records, sign and mail out. If you are in need of a new furnace this winter don't hesitate to take advantage of this offer you will be happy you did.

They have done great work for us. They've installed our heating unit, central A/C and a new gas line for the stove. They're work is very good and reliable. We have no problem at all recommending them.

Work was beautifully done, and for the first time in my life, I have central air in my home!!! They were able to complete the work requested for the rate given in the estimate, and didn't up charge for additional work that was required outside of the additional estimate. The job was completed in about a week, which was longer than I was expecting, but they were upfront on the first day as to how long they expected the job to take. I was only upset that I waited until so late in the season to get the work done, since it did take a few weeks for them to get to my house to get the work done. Any time I contacted them in the mean time, I got a response the same day, usually with an update on when they would be able to start the work. Since my old furnace was installed improperly (it was sideways so I couldn't access the filter easily, and the return was on the wrong side), they had to move the hot water heater a couple feet, which actually worked out well since the area seems to be better optimized for space now. The equipment that was installed was better quality than the other estimates i was given, even the one for a similar price. The air conditioner was larger than the others (2.5 tonn compared to a 1.5 and 2 tonn in the other estimates). I feel like the others wanted to install a/c units which would have been sufficient for the ground flood (i live in a ranch), they didn't take into account the 600+ sq. ft. finished basement that would also need to be heated and cooled. Overall, they were very professional and the end result looks and works exceptionally great. I can't really review the working of the furnace yet, since it's still July, but the air circulation in the house seems much better, especially in the rooms with the new 6" ducts. When they were finished, they cleaned up and left the house as good as it looked before they arrived. I couldn't be happier with the job and would call them again for any work i need done in the future.
