They were respectful of our home, pets and belongings. The team truly demonstrates CUSTOMER SERVICE and satisfaction. We have used Absolute Water Heaters and Plumbing many times over the last 8 years. This is the first I thought to share a review on an excellent company. Should have done this before. Just always want them available to solve my plumbing needs!!! The area they work is is clean when they are done, can not tell they were there, except you no longer have a plumbing problem!!"

It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

The standard HVAC warranty is around five years. Still, many brands offer an extension to 10 years if you register the product within a specific timeframe, typically 60 to 90 days post-purchase or HVAC installation. Over the past decade, warranty periods have substantially increased, shifting from 3-5 years in the 90s to the now-prevalent 10+ year warranties. Both warranty types cover parts failing due to manufacturer defects, incurring no additional costs. Some manufacturers provide extended warranties surpassing the usual 15- to 20-year window, though these often involve extra fees. 

A seller’s home warranty normally excludes intentional damage, issues that arise due to a lack of maintenance, and cosmetic repairs. Each warranty can also have specific exclusions, like certain types of heating or cooling systems and certain components within your appliances and home systems. Most home warranties will also have coverage caps, and once you reach payouts that match the caps, all repairs will be excluded.

Most home warranties last for a year, and you pay either for the entire year up front or you agree to pay monthly. Some home warranty providers let you extend the contract term to two, three, four, or even five years, and in some cases, contract terms can go up to ten years.

It depends on the specifics of your warranty. The motor is likely not covered if you’re working with a limited warranty. The same goes for other components like the compressor and evaporator coil. Some extended warranties will cover the blower and fan motor, so read the fine print before signing up. Additionally, the manufacturer may offer a warranty for the parts, including the motor, though there’s likely to be a strict time limit for this coverage.

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
