Climate Master is a family owned and operated business servicing the heating and air conditioning needs of the Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Fernley and Tahoe areas. Founded by Doug Rennie, he has been servicing the mechanical engineering needs of the area since 1992. Climate Master doesn't strive to be the biggest, just the best. Our focus is on offering quality personal service to our residential and commercial customers in a fast and efficient manner. This is an update to my review from last week; the provider contacted me and scheduled service. Found that a duct for the air conditioner had been improperly installed by the builder; this had not been picked up by the home inspectors when I purchased the home 4 years ago or by a prior provider. The repair was completed and the system runs fine now.

They guy came in, listened to the noise the unit was making, and in about 10 seconds told me what he thought it was. He was right on the money. Had the needed part in his truck and was finished very quickly. Polite, clean guy. Did excellent work.

Fast, Clean, & Thorough! I called Climate Masters and left a message, Dave called me right back and scheduled and appointment for the next day. Dave showed up on time and ready to work. He started up the systems and immediately started diagnosing the faults. He gave me the list and actually had all the parts needed for the repairs on his truck. He had our HV/AC in ship shape in no time.

Josh Rennie installed my new furnace through my home warranty company. They were very busy at the time, but they worked my job in anyway. They even let me use a portable heater until they received the new furnace. Josh was such a good worked and very professional, he had the job done in less than a day by himself. The inspector also said it was a great job. I would be happy to call them back for any job that I have in the future.

I called on Thursday Aug. 23 and was told they could not be out untill Monday at 10:30, but if free would come sooner. Josh Showed up on time Monday morning and within a few minutes located the problem. The outside unit needed a new fan, which he did not have on the truck. He had to drive back 30 miles one way to get a new one, with no additional travel time charged to me. He returned in about an hour, and within a few minutes the unit was working. He also checked the pressure and said all was OK. He was very courteous and knowledgable. I will deffinately use Climate Master for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.

Our home warranty company sent them out to resolve the issue. The experience was fantastic; they showed up when they said they would, were professional, were in and out and the job was done. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Josh called on his way and was on time. He fixed my furnace for the price. He quoted then noticed I had no dryer vent installed. He then installed one also for the quoted price.

They are a new company for us. Our home warranty company has a contract with them, and that is how we got to know about them. We had to pay just the copay because the work was covered under home warranty. They were very good, friendly and prompt, and the work turned out to be fine. It was a little bit more difficult than most kinds of work, and so a couple of return trips were necessary to get the problem fixed. They were responsive every time. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
