"I have used Jung aka JJ twice for bathroom work: 1) Vanity and sink installation for half bathroom downstairs and 2) Upstairs sink stopper re-adjustment and slow leak (under the sink) for upstairs bathroom. However, there were issues with the second work. He quoted me $220 for a simple sink stopper realignment, new drain (costs $5 at Home Depot), and leak repair. Fine. However, he did NOT fix the leak. Water continued to drip under the sink for 2 weeks after he said he fixed it. He did come by once during those 2 weeks and said it was just something he needed to "tighten". That was not the case as the leak persisted. I called JJ again on 10/3 to let him know. I sent him pictures and we confirmed that a rusted valve needed to be replaced. Great. So he quoted me another $110 to have it repaired. Really JJ?! Absolutely NOT right to charge a client more money when it wasn't even fixed the first time. Especially after we both specified what needed to be done and the amount that was agreed upon. He said it's because he needed to buy a different part which (he confirmed) was only $10 at the store. I told him I shouldn't be paying anything more since the repair wasn't done the FIRST time. However, I told JJ that I can pay $10 for the part and he said no. And we bickered back and forth and settled on $60 for him to fix this leak. But after giving it some thought, I will spend the $10 on the part and go on YouTube and figure it out myself. This is a very unfortunate situation because I wanted to continue to use him for other bathroom projects. However, I REFUSE to be taken advantage of. I might not know a lot about plumbing, but I know enough and I definitely know when I'm being hustled. Scamming a client for MORE money after NOT fixing it right the first time, is BAD business. Very unprofessional and unethical. I would have not expected this considering all of the 5-star reviews on here. Do not mistake my kindness and soft spoken voice as weakness JJ. UPDATE: I texted JJ and he told me to f-off. Attached is a photo of his response. I leave this review to warn others that it could also happen to you!"

"I bought a large window to replace a foggy window for $1000. I got my windows professionally cleaned 20 months after the Cut Rate window was replaced. It then became clear that the newish Cut Rate window is faulty and already cloudy. The 1 year warranty has expired. How did Cut Rate make it right? They offered to replace their faulty window for $800 and blamed it on my house."

The cost to repair a window is $400 on average, with prices ranging from $75 to $1,500, depending on the window size, the broken part, and the window type. Broken glass and window frames are typically the most expensive window repairs, while minor fixes like repairing the track, seal, and sash are more affordable. Other cost factors include:
Number of panes
Window material
Accessibility
Labor costs
Emergency window repair
Stained glass window repairs cost about $300 on average. Typical prices range from $65 to $800, depending on the size, location, repairs needed, and whether you need to fully or partially replace the window. Full stained glass window replacements can cost $700 to $5,000 per panel. The repair type also impacts repair costs:
Crack: $100–$300
Faded glass: $100–$300
Regrouting: $200–$500
Cement replacement: $200–$500
New window frame: $200–$500
Cleaning: $300–$600
Resoldering joints: $500–$1,500
Replacing reinforcing bars: $700–$3,000
Yes, you can repair a damaged or cracked mirror with a repair kit. However, DIY mirror repairs are best suited for minor cracks and chips in the glass, whereas you may need to hire a glass repair contractor to fix a large, valuable mirror with extensive damage. To repair minor glass issues, use a resin-based repair kit and be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for best results. You can also remove scratches from glass with metal polish, nail polish, baking soda, or glass polisher.
For most common repairs, a professional window repair service can fix a window in one to three hours. However, replacing window frames or repairing a large, multi-pane window will likely take longer to complete. For comparison, a window installation or repair professional should be able to replace up to 15 windows per day.
The type of window repairs required significantly impacts the project cost. It’s always best to hire a local window repair company for this kind of work. The most common window parts that need repair include:
Broken seal or fogginess between panes: $70–$245
Cracked pane: $40–$100
Broken glass: $200–$2,000
Sash, seal, or track: $200–$600
Latch or hardware: $75–$200
Broken window frame: $175–$1,000
Replace window screen: $140–$480
