"On December 23, 2019, my wife used Angies List to look for a plumber. Every couple of years our kitchen sink starts to drain slowly and we call a plumber and have it cleaned out with a snake. The clog is usually found to be a grease ball. My wife and I live in a nice house in Peccole Ranch but we are not wealthy. My wife is 76 and we live on a fixed income. Unfortunately, I was not at home when the plumber showed up. Had I been home, once he provided his estimate of $ 490.00 to clean out our kitchen line, I would have showed him the door and checked with someone else. My wife eventually accepted and paid a fee of $ 350 for the service. Th plumber that showed up told my wife he was using a new kind of snake and once he was done she would not have any problems with this drain for 10 years. That claim is of course ridiculous and false. There is no way to know or guarantee any such thing. He also told my wife that the work was guaranteed for 1 year but there is nothing in writing to back that up. Needless to say, I am very unhappy. $ 350.00 is too high a price to charge for this service. I want Angies List to contact this vendor, express my dissatisfaction and ask the plumber to refund $ 150.00 of what my wife paid. A $ 200.00 charge for this service would be reasonable. Update: I felt that a $ 350.00 charge was excessive for a drain clean out. I contacted the company and they are issuing a refund of $ 149.00. That is fair and a good response."

"On the first visit, it was a simple fix underneath the sink.  Work was completed to my satisfaction.  The second visit that week, the problem was identified, however, I made the choice to not have it fixed due to cost.

"Mike was very responsive to my questions and emails /phone calls were returned no later than the following day... Once I decided on my sink and quartz slab, the work was done within a couple weeks (this is a very busy time for remodeling) I love my quartz countertops and sink... The workmanship is excellent and very impressed with the speed and neatness the demolition was done (vacuumed as demo was being performed) and debris hauled away... I would definitely ask them to do my bathrooms when i'm ready!"

"Where do I even start.... If I could give Do it Your Painting & More 100 stars, I would. I recently lost my father and acquired his house that needed quite a bit of work and a fresh facelift. He was a smoker and because of his health declining, was unable to keep up on some basic maintenance. After submitting a request for a quote through Angi's List, Dajuan responded promptly and professionally and answered many of my questions, that I'm sure were all over the place. Trying to handle a house project 1000 miles away and trying to find someone to do it was extremely overwhelming and stressful, especially while grieving, but Dajuan's understanding and communication made the process a lot smoother. He was able to meet me at my Father's house last minute while we were in town to go over some job options and gave me some advice to help me make some decisions. After a good month or so of a massive texting conversation, funding hiccups and decision making delays on my part, Dajuan and crew got the job done in the time frame I needed and came back in a timely manner to fix a couple things and complete a couple more jobs I added on at the end. He suggested a couple options for some weird issues in the house and pointed out some issues that need to be taken care of in the future that I can do on my own. Everything was perfect and the finished project came out 100x better than I had imagined and the smoke smell is gone! I am so thankful that the stars aligned to have found Dajuan and crew for this job. It was so nice to find someone who could tackle not only the painting but flooring installation, small kitchen remodel and stubborn ceiling fan installation. A package deal! "We had talked about replacing windows for a few years. We get window salesman in our area constantly. Came across Home Improvements enterprises on a google search. We asked 4 companies for quotes. After all 4 quotes completed we chose Home Improvements quote. The same windows at about $4000 less than the other quotes, no salesman just Robert. The windows took about 7 weeks to be built due to covid . Windows installed yesterday along with one slider. 2 man crew showed up installed all windows. Crew worked well and cleaned up after. Nice job all around. Windows are nice , plus they took all the old windows away."
