I got 3 bids from different HVAC companies, each initially selected based on web reviews. I chose Step By Step, which is small, not as well-known, and new to the business, based on my experience with Eric Juarez, who was personable and forthright in presentation, and straight in answering all my questions. Step By Step provided the most reasonable quote. The pricing allowed us to upgrade from R6 insulated ducting to R8. The house had original R4 builde-installed ducting. The Step By Step team was scheduled & arrived on time to perform removal of old duct work. Then Eric arrived plus a 3rd tech and the job was completed in about 4 hours.
