"We had a seasonal inspection of our HVAC system & during a free inspection of our vent/ducting system it was found that the attic vents were in an advanced state of deterioration. I got 3 bids from different HVAC companies, each initially selected based on web reviews. I chose Step By Step, which is small, not as well-known, and new to the business, based on my experience with Eric Juarez, who was personable and forthright in presentation, and straight in answering all my questions. Step By Step provided the most reasonable quote. The pricing allowed us to upgrade from R6 insulated ducting to R8. The house had original R4 builde-installed ducting. The Step By Step team was scheduled & arrived on time to perform removal of old duct work. Then Eric arrived plus a 3rd tech and the job was completed in about 4 hours. Throughout the process,, we were kept informed when techs would show up and what to expect. We are very satisfied with the work. We will use Step By Step again."

"My experience with Johnny on the spot was outstanding! They were able to come give me an estimate within 24 hours of contacting them. Jose showed up within the scheduled window, took a look at things, asked what I was interested in, and provided me with quotes. I told him that my wife and I would discuss them and get back with him. We decided the night of getting the quote that we wanted Johnny on the Spot to take care of replacing our Furnace and Air Conditioner. I let him know via text and he told me that he would have an answer to my other question the next morning. He called me this morning with the answer to my question and also asked if I wanted the install done today! We were available and told him that would work great. He said the install team was going to load things up and would be at my house around 9 (less than 45 minutes from then). Nate and two other gentlemen that were helping him showed up shortly after 9 and got to work. They took care to protect the front entry way and the washer and dryer as the access to the attic is in the laundry room, and were very quiet throughout the entire install. If I hadn't heard their drills everyone and then I would have forgotten they were here. My wife and I are extremely happy with how the install went and with what we got for our money.
