"I've dealt with many HVAC companies over the years, but I've never encountered one whose folks are as fast and professional in getting your project completed as Mission Accomplished. What an appropriate name! Their Technicians, Jose and Robert, were very knowledgeable and went non-stop installing our new system. They'll be my "go-to" folks for all HVAC issues going forward. Highly recommend!"

"We didn’t have any heating/Cooling in our house although Tom very must he got AC and parts ordered and installed very quickly before 2021 summer heat. He replies quickly and comes out taking care of warranty work and makes sure we install proper filters. He has been a life saver here in Arizona desert checks on heating working properly each year. Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Yes. It's normal for the AC compressor to cycle on and off intermittently in dry mode as it maintains the desired humidity level. The compressor cycles to prevent over-dehumidification and to maintain a comfortable indoor environment. This cycling behavior ensures efficient operation and optimal humidity control, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the dry mode function in your AC system.

Traditional central air conditioning systems require ductwork to circulate air throughout the home. Alternatively, you can add air conditioning with a mini-split ductless air conditioning system, which can be just as energy efficient as a central air conditioner. This type of system consists of two units–an outside unit that holds the compressor and condenser and an indoor unit that holds an air-handler. With multi-zone ductless systems, there are multiple indoor air handlers tied to a single outdoor compressor/condenser, allowing the system to cool multiple rooms.

You can buy a new AC capacitor through most big-box home improvement stores, from an HVAC contractor, or from the manufacturer. Use the model number of your air conditioning unit to make sure you purchase the right part for your unit. Also, keep in mind that the cost of this type of part can vary significantly depending on who you purchase it from, so shop around to get the best price.

You should know the main components of an air conditioner: the condenser coils, evaporator coils, drip pan, AC filter, ducts, and refrigerant. Each part plays a key role in the performance and safety of your AC system. When tracking the source of AC issues or odors, it helps to know where to look. Your outdoor unit houses your condenser coils, fan, and compressor. Your indoor unit houses your evaporator coils, drain lines, and filter, and it connects to your ductwork.

A dual evaporator coil is a specific design that allows the AC system to cool different compartments at different levels. It’s usually seen in refrigerators and similar appliances, but not in whole-house air conditioning systems. Talk with your AC technician about the best uses for a dual evaporator coil.
