"Our exterior walls on the sunny side of our house were cracking. Casa de Avila did a great job of repairing the walls and putting a couple new coats of elastimeric on the walls. The color match was perfect. The job was completed in exactly four days as promised."

"Last spring, when the forest service cleared our land, we noticed the side of our mountain had been eroding over the years. So much so that the porch was sinking. After 5 contractors came to check it out, devised a plan, and then deserted the project, A and E Construction saved the day! Mr. Alan Garcia and his team were highly professional and dependable. A and E built a multi-layered railroad tie retaining wall for support that also improved the aesthetics of our home. Mr. Garcia worked with our vision and made it happen. Many thanks to A and E!"

"Jerry Martin, VP of Cleo Powell Inc. came out to give us an estimate which was reasonable and comparable to another estimate we received from another company. He and another worker arrived on time on Day 1 to begin the preparation work which involved a lot of digging, dirt moving, leveling, tamping, framing, etc. On Day 2 everyone arrived on time again and poured the concrete (from a big pump truck instead of wheelbarrow which was worth the extra cost in my opinion). All the workers were friendly, hard working, and took pride in their work. They all worked well together and were a happy, cheerful bunch - it seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of their work."

"Wright Flow saved me thousands of dollars when multiple local big time companies wanted to over charge me and wanted me to replace thee entire unit with a long time frame for fix. Wright Flow came in, analyzed and fixed the issue less than a couple of hours compared to days/weeks on top of a low cost compared to other companies. Wright Flow knows the job at hand and does so with integrity. I would recommend Wright Flow if need be for others seeking the best customer service and reliability out there."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Yes, professional installations include trenching or borehole drilling required for ground loops.

No, a ditch isn’t a trench. A ditch is an open, relatively shallow channel that’s carved out of the ground and used for drainage purposes. In contrast, a trench is a deeper excavation that’s entirely underground. Trenches have many uses, including gas lines, sewage systems, and electrical wiring. Unlike trenches, ditches don’t get filled back in with dirt after they’re dug.

Above ground pools are not buried in the ground. Typically, above ground pools are semi-permanent. One reason they’re more affordable is that you don’t have to dig for an inground pool and pour concrete or another material. However, you can choose to install a semi inground pool, which is a hybrid between the two.

The best method for digging a trench depends on the scope of the project. For a short, shallow trench (less than 2 feet deep) in light, soft soil, digging by hand may be sufficient. However, digging by hand is labor-intensive, so consider the effort required. A machine trencher is the better option for longer trenches (over 100 feet), deeper ones, or when dealing with difficult soil conditions, such as rocky or hard ground, or obstructions like tree roots. A machine can save significant time and energy in these situations.

If you have a broken sprinkler pipe underground, there will be some signs you can easily spot to locate it and take action. These include leaks, water spouts, flooding, consistently damp areas on your lawn, low water pressure, and grass around the sprinkler head that’s taller and darker than anywhere else in the yard.

If there are no obvious signs of a broken pipe, you can use tools such as water leak mics, leak noise loggers, audio devices that record leaks, and acoustic testing links.

Broken pipes can lead to uneven watering, plant damage, and higher utility bills. The longer you wait to fix them the more the repair cost may be.
