"We bought a really old house that was added on to with a lot of problems, especially HVAC. I called Ortega for an estimate. Anyways, the work went great, given the level of complexity that the technicians faced in an older house with two attics. They had to cut through two roofs and run dryer ventilation through the wall. They faced many complications with my house and still worked tirelessly to get the job done. They went above and beyond, performing quality work at a reasonable price. The owner was fantastic and really cares about his customers. Couldn't be happier with the team, these guys are fantastic!"

"We had two major plumbing jobs done recently by this company. The first was to replace the water line in the crawl space and to install cleanouts; the second was to replace the sewer line in front of the house. After the second job was done, we noticed that the sprinkler valve in the front of the house had been broken. It sits next to the area where the sewer line work was done. After at least two weeks, much hedging, and many delays, we were finally able to get this valve replaced by the company. However, they did not wire it correctly, and the system could not be controlled from the panel on the back of the house. Today when someone else went to reconfigure it, he completed the work and then claimed that the wires to operate the two sprinkler zones in the front were nonexistent. This is absolutely false; I have lived in this house for 12 years and always had two sprinkler zones in the front yard. This needs to be repaired so that it is back to the way it was before this was all broken, but he claims there's nothing he can do. On top of this, when I asked a simple question about whether or not I should turn the valve on/off or just use the control panel, he said that the whole sprinkler system hadn't been set up but that they would be happy to do yet another project for us and do it the "right way." I don't quite understand how this company can claim to have the expertise to reconfigure our entire system but not fix a minor wiring problem. It feels like we are being manipulated into giving them more projects and therefore more money. I would like this issue fixed without paying them for any other projects. After being unable to resolve this with the plumbers who had done the work on our system, I called the company and spoke to a manager. She was able to send someone out to our house who knew more about sprinkler systems and to finally resolve the problem. The company made it clear that they wanted us to be happy with the service, and the manager was very gracious. I would just like to see this level of communication and professionalism across the board. The people who do the work need to request help if they cannot fix something, and they need to understand that proposing bigger jobs instead of fixing a smaller one is not a good way to instill trust. "My experience with this company from the 1st phone call to the installation to the service after the job was
completed has been great. They did a good job of communicating with us along the way and letting us know what to expect.
Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were very impressed that the owner of the company sent us a card with his contact information and encouraged us to call him if we had any questions or concerns. The installation crew showed up on time and finished the entire job in one day. They kept things neat and did a good job of answering my 1,000 questions I had
for them during the installation. A special thanks to Mr. Trey, who went out of his way during the installation of the solar panels to make me feel comfortable. When I called him with questions about how the waterproofing worked, he stopped the entire job and brought me up on the roof to show me how the special roof brackets keep things from leaking.  We have just received our first electric bill and it was significantly lower than the same bill last year. "I was very disappointed.  This was a substandard job.  They didn't wash the screens or the window sills or the window rails.  The windows were not washed correctly and there were unwashed areas.  I asked that they return to actually wash the screens, spot wash the windows, and clean the window rails.  Matthew didn't show up the second time - he sent his worker who did work hard to try to make this right.  The worker had to spend hours doing work that should have been done right the first time. 
For over $300, I expected expert window cleaning.  I do not recommend this company.
