I had a water leak coming from an upstairs bathroom.  I called Ruben Cortez and he was very courteous and extremely professional.  He was troubleshooting the problem over the phone and explained what work may have to be done and the price involved.  When he arrived to my house, he was very professional and he did the work quickly and with excellence.  He also fixed other minor problems that he discovered while doing the work.  Ruben was outstanding and I will definitely be using him in the future.  A+ customer service.

"They kept their appointment, quickly did the work, charged me for it and left.  Later when I started to fill corners with dirt so the grass would cover it, found pieces of cement and cobblestone in one of the corners.  Had to remove them myself. This has happened to us no matter who we hire.  We always have to finish the work ourselves or depending on the work, hire someone else to finish it up.  The men in this company were very respectful and friendly and I figured they didn't realize there were more cement pieces under the dirt.  I called them to make them aware so they could pick them up and cart them off to the landfill since they shouldn't be placed in our trash can, but they never showed.  I finally placed them in another worker's trailer along with construction trash he had been paid to haul from my Father's home.  The work at my home was done in August and in October my father passed and I had to prepare his home to list it.  I chose to hire someone else to do that work and he also left some things behind that we're having to deal with. They won't return when you call them. We also had problems with the roofer my brother hired to work at my Father's home, the person who painted the inside of the home and the person hired to haul away the items removed from the backyard.  I had joined Angie's list because this happens to us always and thought I might find some other companies, but with the passing of my Father, I've been too busy to check anything on Angie's list or send reviews.  Ramirez is the only company I've hired through Angie's List and at their suggestion I had signed up for Angie's list.
