"Jesse was always on time. After I requested a quote he quickly came and provided a very fair quote. The work was scheduled timely and at my convenience. Jesse did a great job repairing our drywall, some required major demo and replacement. He was able to match the texture of the surrounding areas. Great job! Definitely recommend and will use JWE constructs for future projects!"

"I had my house painted about three years ago by a family member who is not a painting professional. Last summer I noticed that in places the paint was peeling off in sheets and the paint on the trim around the doors and the paint on the metal bars on the windows was peeling off. I called two painters I found on Angie's List for estimates. One of the places did not show up on time and their estimate was twice as high for painting less of the house. Chris, at 360 Painting came when he was scheduled to give me an estimate. His estimate was very detailed and in writing along with how the job would be guaranteed. I hired 360 Painting to do the job. On the first day, the painter came and power washed all of the areas to be painted in order to remove as much of the loose paint as possible. After a drying period, he sanded and scraped the wood trim and places on the metal bars to get the surface completely clean of old paint and rust. The house was painted that day and the following day. When the painters left, the outside of my house where they had worked was left spotless. No drips, no spills. Spotless. I was concerned about one place where the paint did not appear to be adhering as well. I called Chris and he came and agreed that some extra work needed to be done and took a couple of trips to make sure that it was finished correctly. I am very happy with the job that Chris and his staff did on my house. I would definitely hire them again, but I don't think I will have to because they did such a good job! I recommend them highly."

Deck Repair questions, answered by experts

As with patios, there are many types of deck choices to choose from to add personalization to your home. Some common deck options include:

  • Attached decks are anchored to the home and include simple ground-level options or multi-level structures with stairways and separate landings.

  • Detached island decks are not attached to the home; they’re a freestanding structure in the yard.

  • Wraparound decks connect the back of the house with at least one other side and often are built with railings for safety.

  • Multi-level decks connect your deck through varying levels of elevation, featuring landings that are attached to stairs.

While eco-friendly decking, also called composite decking, is a win for the environment because it consists of recycled materials, it has trade-offs. These sustainable options often come with steeper price tags, lack natural wood's warm look, and can become uncomfortably hot under full sun. Some composite materials can also become slick when wet, posing a potential hazard.

Yes, Ipe wood is a popular high-end choice for pool decking. It repels water and is naturally slip-resistant. It's not susceptible to mold, mildew, or rot, either, so it lasts longer and is cleaner and more hygienic than other popular decking materials. However, remember that due to its status, it is a very high-cost wood, and you might find that an alternative would serve you just as well for significantly less.

A deck doesn’t have to be perfectly level. Many pros even recommend a gentle slope to ensure proper drainage and increase longevity. The ideal gentle slope is about 1/8 to 1/4 inch per foot away from the property, leading water away from the home to prevent pooling and reduce the risk of damage. It also minimizes rot, mold, and other moisture-related problems.

Yes, you can attach a deck to a mobile home, but it’s important that the work be done correctly to avoid the potential for major damage to your home. Many building codes require that any additions to mobile homes—including decks—be either freestanding or have their own support structures. Getting permits may require submitting the home's original floor plan, the proposed floor plan, framing details, and more.
