- Top rated in New Jersey for Electrical Vehicle Charger Installation (Residential/Commercial) - Specializing in residential and commercial Generator installations - Leader in internal and external lighting designs - Licensed, insured and bonded electrical contracting firm, NJ License #16244 We care about the overall project goals and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. We will treat your job site or home like our own homes. We are committed to provide the latest technology, highest quality products, superior customer service and competitive prices. Our estimates are free and no initial service fees.

"WARNING- do not use this company, didn’t do the job agreed and paid for and don’t guarantee work!!!! I had a simple GFCI outlet installation required for a tankless hot water heater in our basement. They came out for an estimate, we agreed on where the source circuit would be to run wire to the new outlet and they took pictures and wrote details of the job. Electrician came out to do the job and I plugged the hot water heater in and it seemed to be ok and paid the bill. However, after the electrician left, we notice the hot water heater stops producing hot water after a few minutes or doesn’t turn on every time. Suspecting there may be an issue with the hot water heater, I called the plumber who installed the hot water heater and everything seems fine with the heater and new outlet from their diagnosis and they can’t determine the issue. I then did some diagnostics myself and noticed the electrician didn’t use the agreed power source I paid for to run wire to the new outlet, he used a different much closer source from a light fixture box, saving him on wire cost and labor time. Suspecting the issue may be a faulty GFCI outlet or something on the circuit, I called the electrician to tell them the situation and they agreed to come out after some haggling to investigate but said I’d need to pay their min $120 fee for the visit if the issue is unrelated to their work. The electrician came out and replaced the GFCI outlet and after testing the hot water heater, the same issue happened with hot water not coming out. With the issue now appearing to be something on the circuit that’s affecting the sensitivity of the GFCI outlet, I asked the electrician to run the circuit from the original source agreed and I paid for. I was told he can’t do that and needs to talk to his boss and asked me to pay for the visit. I refused to pay telling him they haven’t installed the circuit as agreed and I paid for. He agreed and said someone will get back to me to run the circuit from the original agreed source. After a couple of weeks I get a call asking if I’d pay $120 to run the wire from the original source circuit I already paid for. I said I wouldn’t and they should honor the original agreement. The person said he’d talk to his boss. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing, I got fed up and ran a wire myself from the original circuit source to the GFCI outlet. I plugged in the hot water heater and it worked perfectly, confirming the issue was something on the circuit the electrician chose to run the wire from. All I asked for was to do the job we agreed and I paid for and everything would have been fine. They tried to nickel and dime me to pay more to redo their work which wasn’t what we agreed and I paid for. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!"

Welcome to our profile. Integrated Electrical Solutions is a full service electrical house. We do great work, at a fair price. Our pricing is very simple: we charge a $175 service fee, and $150 per hour for Lead Electricians, $115 per hour for Second Electricians, and $85 to $95 per hour for Helpers. , plus parts for electrical, drain work and appliances. We service all brands of portable and stand by generators. Work before 6 am as well as night after 6pm, weekends and holidays is subject to additional charges. We normally charge $125 to clean dryer vents and that's it. We provide outstanding, well equipped mechanics, who know their jobs. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- TOP SHELF FIVE START SERVICE. Integrated Electrical Solutions is a fully licensed and fully insured electrical company. We do emergency work 24/7, 365. When you want the best and you want it done right the first time, call us. thank you!

"The experience was not quite what I expected. I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."

Plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems make your house livable. One minor issue with any of these systems can put your home at a standstill. For over 24 years, our company has been taking care of the homes of New Jersey residents through our top quality plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to address even the most mind-boggling issues of your in-home equipment. From repairs, installations, and upgrades, our technicians are known for getting the job done right every time. We also provide upfront pricing with a full description of the service before commencing work to avoid any surprises down the line.

"If I could, I would give this horrible service provider a 0.0! I scheduled a plumbing appointment on a call, which was confirmed via multiple texts the day prior to the appt. Then had an employee go to the location during the 4 hour window they specified and wait for the plumber. On the day of the appt, 1 hour into the time window someone calls and says, sorry we’re not going to go because we only do residential plumbing. This was a surprise, as it was communicated to them that this was a business when I had set up the appt. So, I decided to speak with a manager. After spending over an hour of being bounced around from one dept to another, asking for a manager, they never connected me to one and their dispatcher had the audacity to say “sorry for your inconvenience, but you’ll just have to find someone else.” WOW! The hoops they make you jump through and the rudeness is not worth the hassle. I would definitely recommend you find a different plumbing pro for your project!"

Linda who I spoke to on the phone is very friendly and worked with us to meet our schedule. Patrick who did the work was very professional. He did a quality job. Electrical services FAQs

It’s important to ask an electrician a few questions before you commit to hiring them so you can make an informed decision as a consumer. If you’re getting estimates or considering hiring an electrician, ask them these questions:

  • Are you a full-time electrician?

  • Are you bonded, licensed, and insured?

  • What level of experience do you have as an electrician?

  • Can you please share three references?

  • Do you do residential or commercial electrical work?

  • What kinds of electrical work are you most familiar with?

  • Will any subcontractors be performing the work?

  • Are permits and inspections required?

  • Who is responsible for obtaining permits and inspections?

  • What is your schedule?

  • Do you offer a guarantee or warranty on your work?

  • Will you sign a do-not-exceed clause to keep the job within the budget?

Tipping an electrician is not a requirement nor is it expected, as they build a fair wage into the price of the job. It’s up to your discretion. There are no set rules for tipping electricians, but if they did a great job and you’re so inclined to tip 10% to 15%, it will likely be received with thanks.

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.

Yes, although there are different types of electricians, they must be licensed, certified, and in most cases insured. States have different requirements for electrician licensing and certifications. In some cases, there may be licensing requirements at the local level, but not the state level. It’s always a good practice to confirm requirements with your local municipality. If licensing is not required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed electrician with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
