"Cesar and his crew just finished a remodel of my master bathroom. This is the second major project completed in my home by CSZ (prior kitchen remodel) and once again they exceeded my expectations. Cesar worked with me along the way to come up with the perfect design to ensure all my requirements were met. He is knowledgeable and his attention to detail is second to none. The CSZ crew, Armondo and Benjamin were also a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and hardworking. They also did an exceptional job cleaning up at the end of each work day. My dog even loves them! I highly recommend CSZ Construction. They will most certainly be back for future projects in my home!"

"With the installation of the entry doors we had the old doors to dispose. They were nice enough to follow me to the recycling facility to dispose of the doors, were they could have them for me to dispose. Also, when they were done the only reason we know they were inew door install. The cleanup was meticulous leaving mo debris behind. I would use them again."

"It is my pleasure to recommend you to hire Artur Laska to perform re modeling in your home. Our home is 110 years old. Couple of months ago a small portion of the ceiling in the 2nd floor bathroom fell off. The renovation/remodeling project evolved, and we ended up asking the contractor to fully gut this bathroom as well the 3rd floor bathroom which is immediately above it, including replacing all water and sewer pipes, electricity, windows, lights, ventilation. We asked to install instead of the closet a 2nd floor washer/dryer that needed its own designated electric power cord. This was our first project with Artur. I was immediately impressed by his attitude: Artur approached the project in my home as if it was his own home. Artur is through, professional, hard working, and reliable. Artur's work is impeccable (its hard to impress my wife, but she is thrilled with the two new bathrooms!). Although Artur is a young man, he has an old fashioned work ethic; he simply believes that doing a great job, doing the right thing, and putting the customer needs and happiness as his top priority is the only way to run your business. He did not have to say this to me; his actions spoke. A final point: I am used to contractors promising to finish a project in a short time and ending up taking three times as long (if you are lucky..). Artur estimated the project to take five weeks. He actually finished 3 days earlier than his promised date, despite our increasing the scope of the project after we originally shook hands by 35-40% (from a $ perspective). We are already planning the renovation/remodeling of the master bedroom suite including a brand new bathroom in the next-door bedroom, which will be joined to it. When we are ready, we will call Artur directly."

"Mike is very friendly and courteous, as well as quite dedicated to doing a good job. When installing our new attic stairs and door, he spent numerous hours over two days. I saw him place the weatherstripping perfectly, and both this and the paint look excellent. As he works, he explains the steps of what he is doing. After finishing, he called later on to make sure that there were no problems. He is easy to contact and returns calls. I would therefore highly recommend Mike and Palma Construction."

"I have a block foundation with hairline cracks, and I was referred from a colleague who had used this company previously, Eddy sent out a specialist who Explained I was experiencing hydrostatic pressure around the perimeter of my home And gave me several different options to remediate the issue with respect to my budget. I chose to have the cracks patched from the interior as well as have a perimeter drain installed. moisture readings were taken, and the sump pump was also inspected for precautionary measures."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You can relight a pilot light by yourself, but it’s not always the safest choice to do so. While the job is straightforward, a small mistake could end in a gas leak, fire, or explosion. That’s why we recommend everyone hire a pro for this job. Local furnace pros have lit dozens if not hundreds of pilot lights, and they’re well-versed and highly experienced in the proper safety protocols to keep you, your family, and your home safe while doing so.

Generally, an oil furnace is considered safer than a gas furnace for several reasons. While both types of furnaces can produce carbon monoxide, a leak in an oil furnace is easier to detect due to the smell. Oil furnaces also don't connect to a gas pipeline, which reduces the chance of a fuel leak. Most importantly, heating oil is not combustible, whereas natural gas is highly flammable. This means there is a much lower risk of combustion or explosion with an oil furnace. However, an oil furnace can still pose a fire hazard if it tips over.

No, it is not safe to leave a propane heater on overnight. Even if you’re using the heater in a well-ventilated space, the heaters can emit carbon monoxide that can lead to fires. Be sure to fully turn off and secure the propane heater before clearing the area.

No, but they both serve distinct life-saving purposes. Smoke detectors primarily sense the presence of smoke, typically caused by a fire, and emit loud alarms to alert occupants to evacuate. In contrast, carbon monoxide detectors monitor the levels of carbon monoxide gas, an odorless and colorless but deadly substance produced by incomplete combustion of fuels. When CO levels become dangerous, CO detectors sound alarms to warn inhabitants of potential poisoning risks.

Short circuits can cause fires, electrical burns, and electrocution, which can lead to serious injury or even death. That’s why it’s important to take preventative measures to prevent short circuits, like getting annual electrical maintenance and an electrical inspection every two to five years, depending on the age of your home.
