"Mike and all of his crew at Forever Green tree service are beyond amazing! They are professional, prompt, hard working, and very friendly. I have never seen or heard of a machine that can actually go over a house to cut down the trees in the back yard. I watched this amazing show from beginning to end. This hydraulic claw which looks a little like the claws in an arcade is moved over the house by Mike the owner. He has the controls in his hands. The claw grabs part of the tree and once in it's grip saws it off. Then Mike slowly brings that large part of the tree over the house and lays it in the yard. From there the shredder came, as Mike was cutting two other guys were shredding. These guys work in unison, everyone knows what to do and how to do it. This company is highly recommended !!! All the photos I took are too large for Angi's list except this one."

"Tom came out to give me an estimate as scheduled, and took the time to discuss the possibilities with me. He and his crew arrived on the date and at the time agreed upon to trim the huge ash tree in my yard. His crew was very conscientious about safeguarding my and my neighbors yard items (tables, chairs, grills etc.) My tree is so large it extends over several yards. They did a wonderful job trimming it, exactly as we had discussed, and cleaned up all of the debris afterward. Then they put everyone's yard items back the way they found them! I am very happy with their work. I recommended them to my parents who were also pleased."

"Captain Tree Service brought to the job well trained and equipped workers who knew what needed to be done and did it. They worked as a team and were a pleasure to watch. Their machines were like new and were operated like pros. Two of my neighbors hired them on the spot to remove at least one tree and their work was completed the same day.. Captains used a unique and in my opinion, ingenious method to lift the tree section using a large crane and safely lower it to the ground so that it could be dissected and fed into a shredder or placed in a log pile to be taken elsewhere. This method meant that the chain saws and the shredder were only run when needed. Most tree services that I have used would run their machines constantly. Now all this expertise comes with a price tag but you get what you pay for. I have personally used three other services not including dropping trees myself and the prices closely matched the results. One of the least expensive services put two small holes in my roof, one that I found and had them repair and one that I found too late to do anything about. They also damaged my neighbors roof which I still have to hear about ten years later. Another one was good like Captains but came from far away. Their cost was comparable. My DIY work was the least costly but resulted in a crushed fence, a large hole in my shed, a lawn with ruts, a serious back injury and a heart attack. But for the grace of God it could have gone much worse to include a crushed house or the death of my German Shepherd Dog, whose kennel was next to the shed. I hope this review can help you find the best tree service like the ones that led me to Captains Tree Service."
