Mike is the best! He comes to our house every six months because of the many trees within reach of our house. He tells me what needs to be done to protect the roof, ie. Trimming small branches, taking down big ones, or in one case taking out a dead tree. There have been times nothing needed to be done, and he told me that, too. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has absolute integrity. Couldn’t ask for a better combination - or a nicer guy

Clauser Tree Care personnel were knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient. They did a great job pruning, thinning and shaping 6 of the trees on our property. They will be coming back in the spring to treat a tree we have that has rust. They came highly recommended and I would recommend them to others

Extremely well! Our entire property is very sloped & the high dead ash trees were situated within our wooded area. They respected our wishes not to use any equipment. They did a remarkable job climbing the trees & safely brought them down. They went above & beyond & trimmed branches of three other trees at our request. They also removed a lot of old dead brush. They split the wood for our fireplace. They were extremely professional, hard working, personable, respectful and had very reasonable prices. We highly recommend them & will use them for all of our future tree services as well as firewood. As Alex said, “There is more than one way to take down a tree and it doesn’t have to be the most expensive one.

I had about 12-15 large arborvitae removed and their stumps ground up by Navarrete Brother’s and I was very impressed and happy with the service that I got. Pablo and his crew were prompt, on time, efficient, and considerate of my property. They were also the best quote that I got by far. I would absolutely recommend them and use them again in the future

  • BOB KOCH 215-CUT-TREE

I just purchased a home in the Millbrook section of Northeast Philadelphia. While working in the backyard, I discovered that a the trunk of a large tree was split vertically and stabilized with a ratchet— missed it on pre-purchase Home Inspection. It would have eventually fallen— through my neighbor’s privacy fence and -worse case scenario- onto whoever might have been standing next to or behind it. I looked for a local tree cutting service and found Bob online. He came out at1.15pm Saturday, inspected the tree, gave me a fair price and he had a crew onsite in less than 1-hour. Had to carry all branches, debris, etc through my newly carpeted family room and garage to the street. Ryan and Miguel were neat, conscientious and respectful of my property. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with. By 3.30pm - a lawsuit waiting to happen had been removed from my yard. Highly recommend

If I had to describe my experience in working with A&M Tree Services, I would choose the word exceptional. From my first contact with Alexandra to meeting Alexandra and Michael in person, to the day they arrived to complete the project, each step of the process was world class. Beyond fantastic pricing and high quality work, they created a personalized experience that outstanding. They genuinely care about thier company, customer and quality of work. Thank you!

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
