Captains Tree Service I don’t like having to write bad reviews, I much prefer spreading love and good vibes. But sometimes you just have to tell it like it is. So here goes: Ghosted by the Captain lol. So the Captain didn’t show up. Boat has a hole in it Mr. Captain so yeah. Maybe the ship lost it’s course? Not sure. But AVOID this service if you need assistance by an Arborist to help with your trees. This man is highly rude, UNRELIABLE and no one likes to be GHOSTED. This man didn’t call and he obviously didn’t care. ZERO. This man has no respect for his customers at all. I even sent a message to his company to see what happened maybe he’d give me the courtesy of an explanation. Nope. Seriously? I wrote to him n asked : “So did you just forget about our appointment”? I wanted to know what happened. As if people don’t have a million OTHER things to do except wait around just to be blown off? I guess the writing was on the wall as this guy planted a little puny over priced pear tree on our front lawn that never really took off. Captain’s Tree Service sucks n trust me Im looking forward to letting as many ppl I know AVOID this unprofessional service. How dare u just not show up especially after calling me the day before to change our appointment to Friday. DO NOT USE Captain’s Tree Service! Thank you 🙏🏼 for reading

Did good job on yard full of old stumps and brush.

The crew was organized, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. They were very good at carefully lowering cut branches so as not to damage anything in the yard. Very professional. I was pleased with the results and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

crew of 7 men very professional, cannot say enough about them. they did everything i asked. estimate half to a third below what i expected, actually had to insist they accept additional funds above estimate due to increased work. crew earned a hefty tip each man. not a leaf left for me to clean up.

Everything went very well; in fact there was excelence in the pre-planning, the actual work and the clean up. This company is amazing.

At first i was in a waiting list for 2 months. But trust me the waiting was worth it. The guys came like 8-10 people and took the big tree from my backyard like within 1.5 hrs time. And man what a splendid job they did. They even took the branches from far with lots of techniques inside my fence without breaking them a bit. Man i am astonished and surprised how they did the job done. They have the tools a professionals should have. they have the techniques a professional should have. They have the hands a pro should have. Mostly they had very hard time bringing there crane system inside my yard for ground stump but they went above and beyond and made things easy and possible by even opening there crane into half. They are the best in town now. I will say just trust them with your tree cutting and they will do the rest. The money was worth spending for me for tree removal with this great company.

The service was good.

I paid a deposit and was promised the work would begin within four weeks; they scheduled me six weeks out instead of four. I took another three weeks to get the scheduling updated. After the trees were removed they immediately asked for the remainder of the balance even though they left the logs on the street in front of my residence. They promised on three separate days that the logs would be removed, each time with a new excuse for why they hadn't done so as promised the three times previously. I spoke with Alonzo who became angered when I confronted him with their empty promises, then disconnected my call. After I sent a message that I would stop payment of the check payment, they finally completed the job. Today, ( 2 1/2 weeks after hanging up on me), as I prepared to depart for my flight overseas, Alonzo called me to ask if I was satisfied with their work and to solicit further business. This review is my response to his question. I was/am unhappy with Captain's Tree Service customer service and communication. In fact their customer service is a "F-" in my book. I had a gentlemen's agreement with them to cut more trees next summer when I return home but after the manager's (Alonzo) customer service they will not get any recommendations or business from me.

They called and came at an earlier date then promised. Did all the work quickly and cleaned afterwards. Happy with the service and would recommend them.

Captain's Tree Service were very prompt with replying to my message. Tim came to my house. He was able to take care of my tree very quickly. I was very happy how quick he was able to make my backyard look. I would definitely recommend to friends!

First review was not great. We had a lot of miscommunication! When work was done we were very happy with workers . This is a great crew, work very well together to get job done! Went above and beyond, I cannot say enough!

Captain Tree Service did great job. Workers were pleasant and extremely hard working. They brought five workers and were finished in about 3 1/2 hours. I highly recommend them.

We had two trees come down across our fence. They were careful not to cause more damage but moved with confidence and got the job done super quick. I especially appreciated how they listened to my concerns, evaluated the situation as a group and then moved as a team. Very professional and I never worried about the quality of the work. I will be using them again when we need more tree trimming. Highly recommended!

I used Captain's Tree Service 4 years ago, they did a fantastic job. I just hired them again, they did everything in the proposal, a very professional team, and a superb clean up. They used a bucket truck and drove over my entire lawn with sheets protection and did not leave one mark. Their price in both cases was the lowest of 3 estimates. Too bad I can only rate them a 5, they are a 10!!!!

The job was complete to my satisfaction.
