"Eddie and his crew did a great job on our full master bath remodel. We had it completely gutted and everything redone. I recommend them not only for the quality of work, but for the small things which set them apart from other contractors. The whole crew and all his subs worked extremely clean, they covered everything and cleaned up each day. All the workers were extremely nice and very respectful to us and our home and considerate to the fact we had a toddler running around. They have excellent attention to detail and did not cut any corners. Eddie gave us a lot of ideas through the whole process. We even had a snag at the very end with the tub fauceti bought not fitting, I was even willing to buy a new one to avoid any delays but Eddie and his plumber saw it through to the very end. The only critique I have is the communication was a little last minute sometimes. We wouldn't always know if they were working the next day until late the night before. Regardless I will be calling them for my next project and recommend you do also."

"BelMax did several projects for me including two major projects; (1) remodeling a basement bathroom with the addition of a shower and adding a second-floor addition to the house which became a walk-in closet. BelMax worked with an architect to get a solid design, pulled the permits, completed the work, and got the work approved. I am very pleased with the quality of their work. Throughout the job, the crew wore masks and shoe coverings when they worked inside, which I appreciated. They were also very clear about what was budgeted for each minor project so that later when we changed some of the requirements, we were able to work together to figure out the change in cost. Please note that some of the changes in scope were required. For example, after prior to the work stating, the architect said that we had to add another bedroom window to the house to meet city code. I recommend them and would consider them for work at my house in the future."

Misael is a highly skilled carpenter and painter.  He has a diverse set of skills which he applies to a wide variety of projects.  Beyond his skills and professionalism, he is a pleasure to work with.  He is excellent at communicating with clients, providing a written proposal, with detailed project description and cost estimate, soon after he meets with you.  During the project, he sends e-mails in the evening letting you know the plan for the next day.  If there are any discussions of changes to the plan, he documents the discussion in an e-mail that evening.  Throughout the project he solicits the client's opinion to ensure that you are satisified with his work.

I especially appreciate his creativity.  I asked him to paint my front and rear steps  (probably 25 steps in total). which are made from railroad ties and have required frequent repainting  He provided me with an estimate for the painting but told me that the steps would continue to need frequent repainting due to the run-off from the front and back lawns.  He suggested that I consider covering the treads and risers with Trex composite boards and explained to me that the Trex would not need repainting and would provide a permanent fix.  I followed his recommendation and am extremely pleased with the result. 

On the deck and garage floor painting projects he did a very thorough job of preparing the surfaces before starting the painting.  The final results look great.  And his clean-up after each of the projects was excellent.

I am planning to have Misael perform some interior projects this fall.  I strongly recommend Misael and CFI for painting, carpentry, and other handyman projects.

"After looking around for couple of months & being tired of doing so, we finally nailed down on the Basic Basement Companies for our basement finishing project and boy was it a great decision or what! We did not want a cookie-cutter design & wanted it done our way with the highest degree of quality but also in a quick time frame. I must mention here that they checked all the boxes & more...they were really top-notch through the entire gig! We started the project in Feb 2020 but had to stop soon due to the COVID-19 situation. He is probably the smoothest operator I have come across & ensures his customers understand every step of the process and works with his customers until they are satisfied. One other key thing that I'd like to call out is that they have different teams for different kinds of work (that helps with the expertise & precision of every job) but everyone came with the required PPE to ensure safety during these unprecedented times. I highly recommend Basic Basement Companies for any remodeling projects that anyone might want to do in their respective homes."

"We are thrilled with the renovation of our basement. Dan, the project manager, organized and oversaw the subcontractors so that no time was lost during the renovation. We were amazed that a project of this size was completed in 4 weeks given that they had to demolish an existing basement from the 1970s. Mario, the main carpenter, was pleasant, a talented and hard worker ,and could picture and execute solutions to complicated design issues posed by the existing systems of our house.
