"Booking the appointment was fine the problem began after my new dishwasher was installed. The kickplate was mistakenly thrown away by the plumber. It wasn’t detected until another plumber from Garon T came to finish connecting the sink and insta-hot. He apologized and assured me that they would resolve the problem immediately. That never happened, I called repeat talking and leaving messages to Pamela. Who would apologize but never resolve the problem. Two weeks later, asked what is taking so long and to speak to someone further up the food chain. Spoke to a supervisor who explained this was the first she was hearing about it. Another week and a series of phone calls which ended in insincere apologies. At that point, I had enough contacted the manufacturer myself and received the kickplate in a few days. Then I received this text from Pam. “Hello,This is Pamela with Garon T Plumbing, Heating & AC. Hope y’all are doing great today. Just wanted to touch base to advise that I don’t yet have the arrival date for the kickplate. I apologize for the delay and will let you know as soon as I know. Thank you - have a great weekend!” I replied we already have the kick plate and after three weeks of terrible customer service the issue was resolved. It’s a shame they have such appalling, customer service. We had plan to use them for additional work, however, with customer service unable to resolve a simple problem I’m not sure if I trust them moving forward. Since posting this I have not received any response from Garon T not even an offer to finally install the kickplate."

They charged a $140 diagnostic fee, which I agreed to — assuming it would be applied toward the repair as many other companies do. However, when the technician arrived, he inspected both issues (which were minor and didn’t require any major parts) and then quoted over $1,000 to fix them. This was shocking and completely unreasonable. No repairs were done, but I was still charged the full $140 just for the visit. Their pricing was way out of line compared to other plumbers in the area. The lack of transparency and the inflated quote felt like a bait-and-switch. Be careful before booking — I suggest finding a more honest and reasonably priced plumber."
