It went very very well! It turned out to be more challenging a job than anticipated, and the crew needed to make adjustments. Paul and his crew were amazing. Paul quoted us a fair price- not cheap, but liners are a costly job to begin with. He gave us a very detailed written estimate. He explained to us what needed to be done along with how he would proceed should there be anything unexpected, based on what he saw in his original inspection of the chimney interior. They took the needed time to explain everything as work proceeded and were meticulous in their clean up of the furnace room. Most importantly, my husband and I came away feeling the interior of our chimney now was sound and very safe. I would highly recommend him for any chimney or flue work or repairs!

Paul's Chimney Service was excellent. I have used 3 different companies over the past three years and I am happy to say I finally have someone I will be using again. They were right on time, professional, priced well, explained how it looked afterwards, gave me a free bottle of creosote cleaner as there was still some residue they couldnt quite get off from sweeping alone, and best of all, they didnt try to sell me on services that were unnecessary (rare for this industry).
Very happy and I look forward to using them again next year.

Paul is exceedingly well qualified to do what he does, which in my mind justifies the little bit extra I paid him over what some of the other providers on Angie's list were asking.  He arrived on time, charged me fairly, inspected my system, cleaned the chimney without making a mess, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Paul was very professional and did a nice a job in a timely fashion.  In the future, I wouldn't hesitate to call upon his services again.  He even tried to help with questions with a gas fireplace which he doesn't service.  To me, that's going above and beyond his service.

We had a great experience with Paul's Chimney & Restoration from start to finish.  Prior to booking the appointment, Susan was a pleasure to work with and took time to answer our questions.  We recently purchased our home and were not sure the last time the chimney had been cleaned.  Paul and his associate inspected the chimney, explained what needed to be done and took their time working on the project.  We feel at ease with Paul and look forward to working with him again in the future. Thank you for a job well done.  We are now looking forward to using our fireplace.

It's that time of year to have the chimney inspected and cleaned.  We called Paul's and were given an appointment for the following week.  They called us the night before they were to come to verify our appointment.
On the morning of the service, they came on time, set up their cleaning equipment including drop cloths so that they would not dirty my floor.
They performed the services and spoke with us regarding any issues with the chimney.  They presented us with the bill that outlined all the services done and the cost.
As usual they are totally professional and were here for enough time to perform the service (no rushing).  I have used them for a number of years and feel that they are excellent and will be using them again next year.

Paul came out and spent quite some time with me explaining the situation with my chimney.  His team completely rebuilt my chimney to the roof.  Paul was very professional and provided me with a complete cost estimate before the work started. His team handled the job in a couple days and cleaned up completely before leaving.  I would highly recommend Paul's
Chimney and now we have a chimney company we can depend upon for future inspections, cleanings and what ever else is needed.

Matthew and Joel were professional. They took care not to let any debris get into the house. After the job was done, at no charge, Matthew inspected my furnace flue and other chimneys and was very patient in explaining further work that I needed to the damper.

I called looking to get a quote for a chimney cap.  I received a call back on the same day and scheduled an appointment for the following day.
Two techs arrived on time.  We discussed some questions about my chimney.  They were very knowledgeable and did not try to sell me anything more than I needed.  They had the cap on the truck and had it installed within a few minutes and provided a well documented invoice.
Very easy transaction at a very good price.  Job well done!

When I called to make the appointment, the owner, Paul, answered the phone. He could not have been more pleasant or willing to answer my questions. Two days later, Matt and Joel rang my doorbell ready to get to work. They even called me before they came to let me know they were running early and asked to see if that worked for my schedule. How nice! They inspected both chimneys and the flue to the furnace to first see if they needed cleaning. They let me know that all three could use cleaning, though if I wanted to wait on one of them, it was not urgent to have it cleaned. I never felt that I was being sold services that were not needed. Matt and Joel put down heavy blankets on the floors to be sure to avoiding dragging dirt in from outside. Since we recently purchased our home, there was no furniture for them to cover, though from previous experience with this company, I know that they are careful to cover furniture thoroughly. I decided to have both chimneys and the furnace flue cleaned and the gentlemen got right to work. They were both willing and able to answer any questions that I had and made certain that if I had any further questions after they left to be sure that I didn't hesitate to call. Since it is in the middle of the winter and everything is very covered in snow after several big storms, these gentlemen will return in the spring to inspect the chimneys and chimney caps from the rooftop to be sure everything is intact. They were very thorough, showing me the furnace flue before and after and even removing a dead bird from one of the fireplace chimneys. I can't say enough great things about my experience with this company this visit or my previous experience with them 2 years ago. I will be certain to call them for any chimney needs in the future. Highly recommended.

It went extremely well.  The tech, Matthew McAloon (and a helper) were prompt, efficient and very neat.  Chimney and fireplace were immaculate when they left, and my living room was tidy and undisturbed.  Matthew offered some valuable advice on upgrades and improvements, without being pushy.  He recommended an annual checkup, which I will certainly do.
