Steve did an excellent job. The price was reasonable; piano was picked up shortly after I put in my request; the repairs did not take long. Steve is extremely skilled and professional. My piano went from an eyesore to eye catching. He even repaired the bench. I highly recommend him.

Steve is a pro's pro. Not many technicians have these skills anymore. I have been recording and playing a bunch of digital keyboards, for years, because of their low maintenance and dependability. As a former Yamaha influential artist my personal recording studio is always filled with Yamaha keyboards, for the artists I produce but....when I play jazz clubs, live, I am always happy when I run into a first class acoustic baby or full grand piano. I had a iconic 9' Concert Grand back in the 60's but had to sell it. I have missed having home access to one ever since. When a neighbor recently moved I was able to purchase a stable, reasonable sounding 5' Weber baby grand (Korean construction). Steve is now the caretaker of my "new" baby. I have complete confidence in him. UPDATE 06/03/2019: I rated both A and because they deserved the rating when I used their services. However, when trying to contact them again for service (quite a few times over many months) they haven't return phone calls/contact attempts.

Steve was great! He did a thorough evaluation of the piano- which had not been properly serviced in many years- and identified some easily fixable issues. He was able to do the work quickly- and then gave the piano a proper tuning. The piano now sounds better then it ever has!

The refinishing of a corroded piano pedal went great. See the attached before and after photos. His subsequent tuning of the piano was also excellent as judged by my sister-in-law who is a piano teacher. Would highly recommend Steve for general tuning as well as any piano repairs you might need.

First he came to tune my 100 year old piano. He finished tuning my piano and then unprompted gave me a diagnosis of all the problems that have added up over the many years of my piano's life. I had him come back at a later date to do the extra work and not only did he fix many of the problems he showed me how he fixed them. So now not only do i have a piano that plays beautifully I understand why. He is a piano doctor with a great bedside manner that diagnoses the problems and cures them.

Steve did a great job with tuning my piano and also made recommendation to get my piano playing like brand new. He didn't pressure me, just gave me his expert opinion. He knows his stuff so I decided to have him do the work. His prices are reasonable and he stands by his work.

Wow. Great service and Steve is a really nice guy. The move went super smooth. Steve arrived and delivered when he said he would, even though it was the day after a big snow storm. He even brought salt for the sidewalks in case I didn't have any at my new home. Now, my piano plays BEAUTIFULLY after the regulation and tuning. I'm so glad I reached out to Steve for everything.

We sold an old piano to Steve and the transaction was very easy. He and his assistant were very careful when moving the piano. It was out of the house and in the truck within fifteen minutes. If we ever decide to buy a piano, I would not hesitate to buy from Steve. He was very knowledgeable and sincere.

Mr. Oliver is professional, and has a keen ear. He also is mindful of expense, and alerted us as to the cost of the various repairs either recommended or needed. In the end, we decided on new hammers, a tuning and voicing. We were extremely happy with the quality of his work and his prices.

I hired Steve because my Mason & Hamlin Model A was sorely in need of tuning and TLC. Steve not only tuned the piano, he reset the key depth, re-weighted and regulated the action, refinished the lid that had a nasty ding in  He checked with me before doing the extra work, and serviced my Dampp chaser humidity regulator. In addition to being a really really nice guy (!) --  his price was eminently fair, especially considering how much work he needed to do. He is extremely knowledgeable about pianos, especially the guts of pianos, and his recommendations and work transformed my beloved M&H into a gorgeous instrument. He absolutely knows his stuff - I now have not just an excellent tuner but a trusted tech. I can't recommend him highly enough!!!
