"We can't express enough our genuine gratitude on the awesome job Mike and Nick did refacing numerous 7 yr. old painted cabinets. Totally unbelievable! They refaced all the kitchen cabinets up to our ceilings. Made legs for our granite kitchen table along with other custom things my husband wanted and refaced a powder room cabinet to the ceiling. The guest bathroom was also refaced. Finally, my bathroom was completely transformed. They added shelves to an enormous to the ceiling quadruple linen closet. Heightened and customized a large countertop, installed a larger sink plus added 2 additional drawers to my existing 4 drawers. Useless space under the sink, they put in a huge slide-in drawer. They can and will make anything you need or want and absolutely go above and beyond. Mike, Nick and Cheryl are extremely professional, personable and accommodating. We admire their super strong work ethic (never late and minutes for a lunch break). Always respectful and then hustled to finish a days work with smiles on their faces. I wish you could see all the work they did. They deserve 10 stars and the wait was well worth it--trust me. They were meticulous. Perfection at the highest level!!!! All this work was done in 4 days. "I gave this man $3000 which was 33% of the job upfront. Was supposed to give him 33% at the halfway part And 34% upon completion. But when I went to my bathroom and realized you left drugs in my bathroom and I have small children. Not like that 3000 black and small cleaners caught easy and heâ s lucky he hasnâ t been charged with nothing. Only reason that happened is because I wouldnâ t pursue charges. He obviously is a drug addict and has a problem so maybe he should get help Possibly isnâ t the option maybe rehab is. If you paid for supplies, you got ripped off wait 10 years and it will all fall apart charges for certain stuff but buys different stuff so he can use the extra money to pick himself up drugs without nobody noticing, I am so terribly in grief over this. $3000 he ran off with how is Matt doing in business and not in a jail cell"

Yes, cabinets are installed over drywall. The drywall must be in good condition, and you must ensure that the wall can handle the weight of the cabinets. Secure the cabinets to studs and use proper anchoring devices, like toggle bolts.

Solid wood cabinets and heavy dishware should be avoided if you cannot secure the cabinet to a wall stud. Either way, always check the weight on your wall anchors and be sure not to exceed it.

You should not clean cabinets with vinegar. While many homeowners think it is a natural cleaner, vinegar is a mild acid, not a degreaser. Since it does not cut through greasy grime, it won't effectively remove it from kitchen cabinets. For best results, use a degreasing cleaner designed for prep work, then rinse and dry thoroughly before sanding.

For outdoor kitchen cabinets, choose wood that is naturally more weather-resistant. Teak, Brazilian walnut, white oak, and mahogany are all excellent choices. Avoid pine, cedar, and other softwoods, as they are more susceptible to damage and catch fire quickly. No matter what type of wood you choose, you’ll need to apply sealants, oils, and stains regularly to protect your cabinets from harm.
