team is. First of all, he does all of the work himself along a team he's
work with for decades. Mario, his partner in crime is extremely detailed
and an efficient worker. Tom's subs are great as well. From Joe @
Precision Electric in Norwalk (who also rewired my mud room after finding some
scary wiring) to the plumber to his granite guy and cabinet supplier. ALL
GOOD.
The team only works one job at a time. They come over around 8-830 and
stay all day. That means they are
focused and always turn up when you expect them to.
Tom is very patient and will explain everything that is
being done. He is honest and does
everything he can to make the project be successful without over promising. He also works well with the other trades and
follows up with folks without my involvement (ex. Town for permits, utility for
propane hookup, cabinet supplier with delivery). I was really impressed with the level of
which he takes ownership of the project
He is meticulous in his work. The tolerances in the
cabinet work and how they meet the appliances are super tight. Makes the
whole kitchen sing of quality.
Our kitchen was dark, drabby and was in dire need of a
complete remodel. We ended up with
something more than a kitchen, it’s more of a focal point of the house and has
dramatically changed its usefulness.
If you are considering any major project and need a capable,
knowledgeable, fairly priced and honest contractor, you must put Tom on your
list of people to interview.
I will be using Tom and his team for future project.
He was very open to discussing the best options for my project and helping me decide when and when not to spring for the nicer materials, more expensive techniques, etc.
He brought in subs for plumbing, electrical and drywall and did everything else himself with his helpers. All of the subs had great relationships with Tom and were also very easy to work with.
I strongly recommend Tom and would use him again in a heartbeat.
