From the very beginning after meeting the owner, I knew I was going to be happy with the final result. He was professional, knowledgeable and had an eye for details. I was not disappointed when I picked up my newly reupholstered chair. Well done!!!

Unprofessional. A complete and total disappointment. Mike was supposed to stain and match my cabinet finish and the color was way off, and he kept trying to convince me that the colors matched. Mike didn't arrive prepared with any tools or material, not even a screwdriver! Mike argued with his assistant the whole time. Mike and assistant went on a 3 hour lunch break, and ended up working on my cabinets until 9am, and didn't finish!! Mike returned alone the following day, I shared that I was unhappy with the quality of the work, he hung my cabinets, and did not properly secure then to the beams, and I could not put anything in the cabinets. I shared with him that the project was not satisfactory and he stated "when women start to complain, I have to leave, I can't listen to women complain". I had to pay another contractor to come in an take down the cabinets and re-install them securely. See the picture posted. The 2 long middle wall cabinets are lighter than the rest of the cabinets, they stand out. Don't hire this person, it's not worth it.

The businesses owner is very responsive he was the first to contact me and it as first in the morning. I requested a same day service for him to upholster my sectional sofa, as the one that I purchased was too hard for comfort. I immediately got a feel of respect, responsiveness and willingness to work from this person on Sunday. He told me that he would arrive Monday morning pick up the cushions and deliver it back with within a few hours. My sofa cushions has come back much better than before and it is very comfortable. Generally, I am a very skeptical person but from this person, I got a sense of dignity, honesty, and work ethic. I let him take my sofa cushions without any questions and he communicated with me from start to finish. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate his responsiveness and willingness to work and I got no sense of being scammed whatsoever. No red flags were raised. I am very happy to have paid for the service.

Beware of Michael Burton! This company and person is a scam. I hope Angi would take action, as we filed a complain with Angi, and he is still connected with this website. I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience with Michael Burton of One Final Touch Furniture to warn others about my dealings with him. My hopes of having a beautiful custom cushion bench for our office have sadly turned into a nightmare, and I believe it is important for potential customers to be aware of my situation. On August 16, 2024, we entered into a formal agreement with Michael Burton to create a custom cushion bench for our office at the total cost of $2,000 with an upfront payment of $1,000. He assured us that the work would commence immediately and promised completion by August 23, 2024. Unfortunately, this was the first sign of what would turn into a series of disappointments. Despite the initial promises, Mr. Burton failed to meet the agreed-upon deadlines. As the days passed, we found ourselves increasingly anxious about the status of the project. Our attempts to reach out went unanswered—multiple calls and messages to him were met with silence. The situation took a turn when I accidentally connected with Mr. Burton on September 2, 2024. He again assured me that he would deliver the cushions by September 5, 2024. When that date came, we tried to follow up, but once more, we were met with radio silence. It was shocking to feel utterly disregarded after having trusted him with our money and our project. To further illustrate his unprofessional conduct, my husband, created a separate scenario to gauge Mr. Burton’s responsiveness. He posed as a new customer, and to our dismay, Mr. Burton quickly responded, indicating he was eager to take on more business—yet he abandoned our ongoing project without so much as a word. This behavior raised serious concerns for us regarding his integrity and commitment to customer agreements. This experience has left us feeling deceived and taken advantage of. I am now pursuing legal action against Mr. Burton to recover our funds, as we have been deeply harmed by his negligence and potential fraudulent behavior. My hope and intention is to let him know that what he is doing can not be tolerated. In conclusion, I would strongly caution anyone considering One Final Touch Furniture or working with Michael Burton. My experience has been nothing short of devastating, and I hope that sharing my story can help others avoid similar distress. Proceed at your own risk!

The favorable reviews for Michael at One Final Touch Furniture are well-deserved because he did excellent work. He did a fantastic job repairing the leg on our bar cabinet, which the movers severely damaged, and made it look remarkably new. We paid him more than quoted because his work was exceptional. My husband and I told Michael we would contact him again to repair two storage cabinets.

The work was excellent! Mike fixed the broken area of the chair and restored it completely. I can't even see the break point of the chair after it was restored. There was no pickup or delivery charge. He was really easy to deal with.

Mike is excellent. He is very responsive and finished the job. I had a difficult time finding someone who could build cabinet doors to hide my tankless water heater in my apartment. Mike took the measurements installed the cabinet the next day and matched the existing kitchen cabinet doors. He went beyond the scope of work. He stained all my kitchen cabinet doors which had minor scratches. Mike can do any work except plumbing and electrical. I highly recommend Mike. It is very difficult to find people who are honest and show up to do the work for a fair price. I was quoted 3k to 4k for this job with all kinds of stories and Mike did it for 700.00

Mike came to our house and repaired our couch to as good as new condition He took great care in keeping everything neat and clean.

Mike was excellent. One chair was broken and was very unstable, and he completely repaired it until it was a strong chair again. And the second chair also was broken, he repaired and refinished it beautifully -- it was excellent. Mike was very friendly and professional and he was very punctual and finished the job within two days.

Michael did a fabulous job repairing structural damage on two antique pieces, a chair and a chaise longue, that are special to us. He was able to figure out how to do without damaging the upholstery. He went above and beyond, finding and replacing wheels that we hadn’t even mentioned were missing to him. He said we would have the pieces back in four days and four days later he delivered them. From years of experience, we know that keeping such promises is exceedingly rare. Much Michael is that rare individual who exceeds expectations.

Michael was great! He repaired two problem drawers and installed heavy duty clamps on my a/c housing door. He was professional and did good quality work. Everything works again. Very pleased.

Michael was superb and very professional and diligent and went way beyond the call of duty. He hand crafted and made many bookshelves and a superb central island wine rack ....very very happy and pleased . Highly recommend ?

Fast, clean and surpassed my expectations

Michael Burton, the owner, came to my house and carted away the furniture.  It was ready the VERY NEXT DAY.  (He must have worked on it over night.)He did exactly what I asked, the workmanship and finish level were fantastic, and showed up on time.  He's also very pleasant to deal with.He's now doing some woodworking for me for a built-in TV stand for my family room.I hope he does as good of a job.  His prices are reasonable.
