This last project was a big one. It included upgrading a panel, installation of new recessed lighting and adding several new outlets and light switches. It also included removing old and incorrect electrical outlets/wiring that was previously installed in the room. I have a sense of relief knowing that I don’t have to search for a reliable and trustworthy company because they are my go-to each and every time. Tony and Vinny have always been extremely professional and provide excellent service. Scheduling of estimate and work was easy; communication was great; and they were always on time. Our pricing is very simple: we charge a $175 service fee, and $150 per hour for Lead Electricians, $115 per hour for Second Electricians, and $85 to $95 per hour for Helpers. , plus parts for electrical, drain work and appliances. We service all brands of portable and stand by generators. Work before 6 am as well as night after 6pm, weekends and holidays is subject to additional charges. I had clearly explained the scope—replacing 10-12 standard switches with smart switches giving model number/spec—and was hoping for a lump sum proposal, but they only offered hourly rates, which is understandable. They estimated it would take about 2 hours, but the job ended up taking over 4. While they mentioned having done similar installations before, they spent quite a bit of time reviewing instructions on site, which added to the time and cost. The final bill was over $800 for a couple switches, including a service fee and $10 for wire connector? (The switches come with connector) Just a heads-up to others: be sure to ask detailed questions about hourly charges and how time will be managed, especially for smart device installations."
