"Excellent service all the time. I needed an dedicated outlet installed for a dryer and call Shey Weimann. They came out provided me a quote and did the work. That was about a year ago. Since then I had them replaced and relocated the 2 main electrical panels in my basement from one side to another as well as just the other day install another dedicated electrical over my stove for a microwave and replace 4 outlets in the kitchen and check and repair one of my outside outlets. Each time they pricing was far and their guys are very professional and clean up after they are done. Even if you say that is ok I will get it, you get no that is my job. When they replaced the panels I had an issues with the inspection that was not their fault (just a hard-nose inspector) but Shay and Linda made sure that it was addressed. This is one if not the best contractor I have ever dealt with. You receive Excellent service from the first call till the job is complete."

"
Our electric service was ripped off our home during a storm and we lost full electrical service to the home. Joe from Electric Power came promptly, coordinated with the Township as well as the power company and began repairing our service the next day. They were professional and delivered such high quality service. They responded to my calls and texts and were incredibly sensitive to the needs of my 80 year old mother. They explained everything that needed to be done in detail.  I would definately use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

"They arrived on time, installed 2 new circuits w/new breakers, 4 new outlets, 4 new 4 foot LED utility lights with wiring neatly run inside the walls. You can’t tell it wasn’t installed when the house was built. I would recommend Kingdom Electric and Nick and his helper to anyone who needs electrical work, I’m very happy and the estimate was exactly what I paid."

Customers say: Quick response

"This was my first Tesla (Model Y) and needed to install the wall connector in my garage. That required running wires from my electric panel in the basement to my garage. In addition I wanted to future-proof to accommodate a second electric car (in future). Ryan was absolutely fantastic from very start to finish. He clearly understood my needs, suggested most appropriate solution/plan and executed the plan to perfection in a timely manner. Quality work at reasonable price. Ryan is a true professional who is quick to respond and a good person that you can trust. I highly recommend Ryan and can vouch for his work."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Freehold, if a single outlet problem starts affecting other rooms or you notice lights dimming when appliances run, these can signal deeper electrical issues. Occasional sparks, buzzing sounds, or a faint burning smell are early warnings. Basements prone to moisture can accelerate wiring problems. Addressing these minor electrical issues promptly helps prevent more extensive and costly repairs in the future.

Helpful?

When planning electrical projects in Freehold, factor in township permit requirements and the need for inspections. Some neighborhoods have underground utility lines or historic property guidelines that affect electrical upgrades. Consider the area’s weather patterns—strong storms can cause outages, so backup power systems are smart. Seasonal demands, like extra cooling in humid summers, should also influence your project planning for lasting results.

Helpful?

Upgrading electrical systems in Freehold can significantly enhance your home’s value and attract buyers. Modernizing panels, adding GFCI outlets, and installing smart home features are appealing upgrades. Buyers appreciate homes with updated wiring, surge protection, and safety certifications. These improvements not only boost resale appeal but also provide peace of mind and may help lower insurance premiums for future owners.

Helpful?

In Freehold, if you notice persistent flickering lights, outlets that spark or feel hot, or circuit breakers that trip often, these are warning signs. Older homes may have outdated panels, visible knob-and-tube or aluminum wiring, or missing GFCI outlets in wet areas. If you see extension cords as permanent solutions or detect any burning odors, it’s time for a professional electrical inspection.

Helpful?

When hiring electrical pros in Freehold, look for local experience and a strong reputation with area homeowners. Choose professionals familiar with storm preparedness and older home wiring. Ensure they communicate clearly about permits, provide transparent estimates, and offer references. Emergency service availability is crucial due to local weather risks. Avoid contractors unwilling to handle permits or who request full payment upfront, as these are warning signs.
