"We discovered that the roof on our house was leaking. I called Sean at Scott Roofing service on Saturday. We had used them 2-years ago for another roofing project. I received a quote the very next day and was on the schedule for the upcoming Wednesday. The work crew was very friendly and completed the roof the same day. The quality of the materials and workmanship was at the highest levels. The work area was thoroughly cleaned to better than when they started. The dumpster driver was very friendly as well. When he picked up the dumpster he walked around the house with a nail magnet to be sure nothing was left. They are an organization of Master Professionals who I highly recommend."

Yes, algae-resistant shingles will prevent algae and moss growth, providing double protection for your roof and roof flashing. The copper-infused granules on algae-resistant shingles release copper ions that inhibit plant growth in general, so moss will have a harder time growing on your roof, too.
