"The company worked with me to keep the move affordable. The solution was for me to move a portion of the job with my SUV. I took about 50% of the boxed items. Because the move was about 80 miles away the cost was not going to be low. The workers did hustle and overall I am pleased with the move. Trend moved all the furniture and half of the boxed stuff."

Yes, it’s possible, but it’s important to be extremely careful, and always remove rocks and heavier hardscape items. Drain all the water from the tank, leaving just enough to keep the gravel slightly submerged to keep your bacteria alive. If the tank is especially heavy, consider slipping plywood underneath to minimize pressure on the glass. Be sure to pack it so it stays level and doesn’t shift during transit.

It is not difficult to drive a U-Haul truck or other rental truck, and you don’t need an additional license on top of a standard government-issued driver’s license in most cases. If your shed is in disrepair or the relocation cost is too high, it likely isn't worth moving, and installing a new shed at your new property may be a better choice.
