I thought I may have squirrels in the house because I heard scratching above a ceiling and saw a squirrel climbing my chimney with acorns in it's mouth. Dave inspected all the outside areas of my house and looked in my attic. He found no evidence of squirrels or bats or anything else (other than a few mice that I can take care of). He screened off my two gable vents and recommended securing a couple of other entry prone areas which I can do. I highly recommend Colonial Pest Control. "

Some people may utilize diluted essential oils on their skin to try to repel bed bugs, but this is not considered effective for remedying the problem. The best way to repel bed bugs is to treat them with a non-toxic method to rid them from your home.
Bed bugs are highly sensitive to heat, so a hot blast with a hairdryer can draw them out of hiding. Providing a source of warmth, such as a heating pad or hot-water bottle, can attract and lure them out. Bed bug monitors and traps with pheromones can also be effective.
Deer rely on scent to tell them what’s safe and unsafe, so effective deer repellents have to be pungent. Make your own natural repellent by combining a beaten egg, one tablespoon of cooking oil, one tablespoon of dish soap, and a half cup of milk. Pour it into a spray bottle and spray around your garden, avoiding anything you will want to eat later. This stinky repellent will ward off any deer that want to make your produce their next meal. But keep in mind that if your windows are nearby, the scent may waft over.
