"I can't believe how smoothly this repair went! Everyone at Falcone--the schedulers who arranged our estimate visit and the repair work, the foundation experts who repaired the porch, the finance people who explained the estimate and our final bill--every single one of them was helpful, prompt, courteous, and great at their jobs. The county inspector who reviewed the porch repair even made a point of telling us what high quality work the Falcone people had done for us! I would definitely call them again! If you're interested in our specific details, this repair was crucial to maintaining our house's structural integrity; since the screened-in porch is attached to the house, if it went down the hill, so would the back wall of the house! The foundation had cracked away from the main house and the slab was cracked and sliding apart at different angles. The men from Falcone excavated, cleaned, and prepped the job site, including washing the bottom section of the slab to promote bonding when the new concrete was poured. Then they poured a porch perimeter slab wall under the slab to stabilize the foundation. In addition, they installed a backer rod and applied concrete sealant to re-connect the porch foundation to house and prevent additional damage."

"This past January (2021) my wife and I purchased an old farmhouse constructed in 1930. Based on information supplied by Masle we gained the confidence to purchase this house and to contract his company for the work. In effect, the house would be lifted up above the old foundation and replaced with all new treated lumber. The foundation piers were likewise removed and replaced with adjustable steel jack stands. The work was estimated to take two weeks and all work was finished on time. The rotted wood filled an entire refuge dumpster and was packed to the brim with rotted wood removed from under our house. We also asked the company to remove two sections of wall and to build two new entryways into the kitchen and living room. Masle and his crew were efficient and confident in their work and we are very satisfied with the strength of the foundation and the expectation that our house will serve us nicely for many decades to come. "I would highly recommend David. After finding him on Angi, I had him inspect a slope and retaining wall on a house we are looking to purchase in Franklin. The home inspector had noted some settling of the porch, and I worried about the stability of the slope underneath the porch. The current owners had a local person build a retaining wall a few years prior, and they were convinced that any erosion issues had been resolved. However, David immediately pointed out to me that the current retaining wall wasn't built properly and was failing to do its job. Already, there was so much erosion that he could literally slide his hand under the base of the retaining wall, and he warned that we were sitting on a time bomb. In fact, David said it would literally be only a matter of months before we had a much bigger problem on our hands. I contacted the owners, and -- about a month later-- they agreed to have David fix the problem. Even from the time when David first came out, more erosion had occurred in the ensuing several weeks -- just as he had warned. He did a great job of building a much more substantial wall and also graded the top of the driveway to fix a drainage issue. I can't imagine the mess we'd have had to deal with if the problem had not been addressed. Before contacting David, I'd spent a good bit of time researching contractors in the area. The mountains are wonderful, but they are also home to a number of contractors who do very questionable work (as evidenced by the contractor who built the first retaining wall). When I saw that David had over 250 positive reviews on Angi, I knew I'd found our contractor! He did not disappoint. If you're looking for someone you can trust to do slope or foundation work, look no further. David is your man."
