"Kell installed LVP in both the master bedroom and bathroom of a house we recently purchased. He did an excellent job and worked hard to finish the work done early so we could move into our new home before our lease was up. The entire process was straightforward and clear, from the initial consultation and estimate to the final walkthrough and payment. Trevor gave me the initial estimate and updated the estimate when our priorities and budget changed. Kell was a pleasure to work with. It was nice to have him in our home. He's friendly and knowledgeable. When an issue with the subfloor required additional work, Kell made sure I knew how much it would cost to repair. He also gave me the option to pick up the materials he needed so I could avoid the markup Cransten would charge if he picked up the materials. This was clearly explained before, so I wasn't blindsided and could decide which option would be best for me. It was a fantastic experience all around!"

"CMC Electric immediately responded to our request for three ceiling fan installments. They offered to come out and give a quote and to complete the task immediately following if the quote was acceptable. We received a better rate than anticipated and the work was done perfectly. All three fans were different and required differences with installation. To operate with remotes and one is connected to double switches on the wall. The mounts are perfect and the fans operate wonderfully. DJ Whiter was the electrician who helped us. He was friendly, professional very neat in the work areas and communicated well to make sure that each installation was exactly what we desired. We are extremely pleased and will definitely use CMC Electric again. We highly recommend."

"We had Chris Leon and his team renovate a small bathroom in our Durham home and we were absolutely thrilled with everything--their work AND their work ethic! The cost of their services was excellent--much less than the other bathroom we had renovated with another group six months earlier that had been nothing but headaches and disasters and delays. How we wish we had found Chris earlier!! They stuck to the budget completely, they were always on time and came exactly when they said they would, they started and worked straight through to completion (which is rare!), and they finished in less time than they had planned for. And the quality of their work is OUTSTANDING. We plan to use them in the spring for a kitchen renovation, too. I can recommend them without reservation!"

"The person came in and installed the customer-provided swimming pool replacement panel which was 22 years old and showing its age. It was timely, raining, no problem, he had his tent, went to work, and p; performed."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Ceiling fans offer multiple benefits for your home. They improve air circulation to prevent stagnant environments and provide cost-effective temperature control, which can reduce reliance on your HVAC system and help lower utility bills. In addition to their functional advantages, ceiling fans can also enhance a room's aesthetic appeal with features like built-in lighting and modern styling.

Solar attic fans work in winter, but they serve a different purpose than they do in summer. During the colder months of the year, these fans improve air circulation within your attic, which helps remove condensation and moisture to prevent mold growth and protect your insulation and the structure of your home.

In short, no. You can use the square footage range chart in this article to determine the right size ceiling fan for both indoor and outdoor spaces. However, weather elements can damage types of ceiling fans that aren't designed for outdoor use, so your ceiling fan should be weather-resistant if you plan to install it outside.

Fan power is measured by CFM, or cubic feet per minute. For every 1,000 feet of square footage in your attic, you need a minimum of 700 CFM. Steeper roofs may need larger fans or about 840 CFM.  You can figure the size of attic fan you need by multiplying the square footage of your attic floor by 0.7. (multiply by 1.2 for a steep roof and 1.15 for a dark roof). That number is the CFM required for your fan to run efficiently.

It is unlikely that a ceiling fan will fall, even if it develops a wobble. During a proper installation, ceiling fans are securely bolted to a ceiling joist, and the fasteners used for mounting are generally separate from the components related to balancing. A wobble is typically caused by an imbalance, which can be annoying and may lead to other issues, but is not usually dangerous on its own.

However, if a fan is wobbling because it was not installed correctly, it could be at risk of falling. For safety, it's always a good idea to ensure all mounting screws are tight and to address any wobbling or imbalance issues promptly.
