"Clee is very responsive, professional and friendly. The crew showed up on time and were professional while in our homes. Price was a little higher than other companies but we picked quality and professionalism over our budget. I was really hesitant on having the cabinets painted, they were an antique washed color which made the kitchen feel dark and we had the cabinets painted a white creamy color which brightened the kitchen and the paint job was so well done that you’d never think they were painted."

Customers say: True professional

"These guys were super nice, honest, reliable and hard-working. They showed up when they said they would and worked late every night till the job was done. I had a very small window where I could paint the interior of my house before furniture was delivered, and they made me feel like a #1 priority. Very clean and professional. Would recommend to anyone."

"I love my freshly painted kitchen cabinets, bedroom and drop zone cubby. Jay and Gary are top notch professionals. Communication was great from start to finish. Very fair price, showed up as planned and was respectful of our home and our schedule. I have future painting in mind and will definitely use Whiley's Painting again."

Painting questions, answered by experts

Regular staining, sealing, and inspecting for rot or insect damage prolongs fence lifespan.

While the answer varies based on weather, 10 a.m. is a good time to start painting. The dew will have dried, meaning there’s no moisture on the house, and the temperature will likely be moderate and the sunlight less direct. Starting mid-morning should also give you enough daylight and pleasant weather to work on the job for several hours.

Maintaining a composite fence is pretty straightforward, as it doesn’t require staining or repainting. To keep it clean, scrub the fencing with a composite deck cleaner or hot, soapy water. Use a soft-bristle brush for the best results, and avoid using pressure washers or sanders. Plan to clean your fence at least twice a year. Scrubbing the fencing in the fall and spring can help prevent mold and mildew growth.

For the best results, you should apply two coats of paint to your wrought iron fence. Let your first coat dry for about an hour then promptly apply your second coat.

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.
