Small jobs welcome

"A-Plus Home Remodeling LLC enlarged our master bath and added a closet. The finished product exceeded our expectations. That says a lot because given my concern for quality work- to impress me is no easy feat. Carlos remained accessible and responsive throughout the project. A quality rarely seen in most contractors. It took a “minute” to decide who should do the work—especially when living in a community that has a Homeowners’ Association with obvious requirements. I made the right choice in choosing Carlos’ company. I think you will, too ! Lawrence"

Customers say: True professional

"I've been a NC licensed contractor for 20+ yrs and had more than a few subcontractors promise you the world and leave much to be desired in the end, but not Antonio Remodeling. They show up when they tell you and do the high quality work you're envisioning without complaints. Old-school craftsmanship (and I know it when I see it) these guys do great work. I def plan to keep using them on our projects. I only wish I'd found them sooner!"

"Moisture Loc did a good job. The man came out and he answered all of our questions and he is very polite. He screened everything he was going to do and I paid him. He seems to be working okay, I haven't had any problems out of it. I would wish that I hadn't paid so much but everything comes costly these days. For the work they they did, I wouldn't have done it otherwise. They did what they said they would do, as a matter of fact they did a little bit more. They were neat, clean and in order. He was always prompt to call us back and his response is very good. They were pretty much hear when they said they were going to be here. They were very professional"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

You don’t have to commit to a complete home renovation to age in place comfortably—those can get pricey. Instead, focus on a few impactful changes. Consider adding a stair lift or installing ramps to eliminate barriers. Upgrading to non-slip flooring can prevent falls while adding brighter lighting can improve visibility throughout your home. These thoughtful updates can make your home much easier to navigate and enhance your comfort and safety without the stress and cost of a complete overhaul.

Professionals optimize layouts, improve energy efficiency, and ensure structural safety and compliance.

It usually takes around four to six months to build and install a modular home, although your timeline could go up to around eight months if there are delays in the manufacturing or permitting process. Heavy site preparation and foundation pouring can extend that timeline if you need them, as can customizations you want for your modular home. Your modular home company should be able to provide an estimate for the construction timeline before you sign any contracts or agree to any work.

The early stages of building a house are harder than the later stages; laying the foundation and framing the house are two of the most challenging steps. However, it varies for everyone. Some people have difficulty installing HVAC, plumbing, and electricity, while others find it harder to plan the house and secure the necessary permits.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.
