"Fine, despite "Murphy's" best attempt to cause havoc. The front door frame needed to be repaired as well when the threshold and new front door were installed because the spot for the lock was not secure. The guys made sure everything was safe and in good working order. The windows were special order because they had to be inserted into stonework. The company that made the windows did not make them the size specified on the order form. That meant it took longer to find a way to get them to fit into the walls, but the guys cheerfully worked out a way without us needing to wait for new windows to be produced. Our tenants have been very pleased with the improvements. We are also pleased that Handyman Xpress was able to get them installed before the new tenants needed to move in. Made the process much easier for all of us."

"I would highly recommend Andy and his services. We have been having severe moisture issues in our crawl space. After experiencing issues just getting someone to come out and look at the issue or very high prices, Andy called us right away and was able to schedule an appointment the following day. He was thorough and honest in his assessment of the issues. He went above and beyond what was asked and walked our property to point out other areas of concern and things we can do to help mitigate water issues. When it was time to do the work, he was on time and worked really hard to ensure all the mold in the crawl space was taken care of and replaced damaged installation. He came back with his team to install the dehumidifier as soon as it arrived. Once completed, he reviewed exactly what he did in detail, explained the new unit and left things neat and tidy. His pricing was also the lowest we received and far below what we expected to pay. I will absolutely call him if I need additional work done and would recommend him to anyone. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"After setting a start date Mr. Hargrove failed to show up and sent someone who we never met to pick up the installment pay. He was not knowledgeable about the job he was contracted to do. The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job.
