"Holly Forest Tree Service did a large project for me to include trimming out trees so they would not hit the house in one of these high-wind storms, thinning out two huge monkey pine trees, trimming bushes, removing a small tree, and removing a huge old walnut tree. The reason for removing the walnut tree was it was starting to rot in the middle and I was afraid it would fall onto the small one-way bridge located right next to it and cause severe damage. This bridge is the only ingress and egress for several homes in the neighborhood and having the bridge out of service for even one day would be a nightmare for a lot of people. The workers did not mess around and they worked from the time they got here until the time they left (with a short lunch period). I never saw them sitting idly by or stopping to chat or talk on their cell phone. They have a strong work ethic and did an exemplary clean up job. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for tree service."

"I have been using Franciscoâ s services for several months. He takes care of my airbnb and has done a lot of work at my main home, cleaned gutters, cut down several dead trees, ground down all the stumps and overall yard maintenance. He and his employees do excellent work and are very polite. I highly recommend him, you will not be disappointed!"

My name is Joshua Hale. I am the owner and operator of Helping Hand Handyman. I've been a resident to the area all of my life. I'm married to my beautiful wife Elizabeth. We raised seven children together. I really enjoy working for clients and helping to build their dreams. Whatever they may be. It's not just about the money, but about the experience for me. I really enjoy helping people and solving problems. There's not much I can't do when it comes to your homestead. Everything from the ground up. Electrical, plumbing, excavating, carpentry, any and all of your needs I can probably take care of. Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to meeting you. " When you need a helping hand. Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Palm trees are unique in that their roots don't grow straight down; they grow horizontally. Typically, palm tree roots go down between 12 and 36 inches deep. The roots grow far and wide from the base of the palm tree to absorb as much water and soil nutrients as possible. In addition, the horizontal roots are also very strong—keeping palm trees stable and helping them sway during storms.

Debris removal is often included in the overall cost of having a tree removed from your property. However, tree maintenance service companies do not always include debris removal in their pricing, so ask any contractors offering tree trimming cost estimates whether or not removal is included. If you want to keep the wood mulch, ask if they charge extra for it as well.

Pruning is an effective way to prevent a diseased branch from infecting the rest of the tree. If the infection isn’t caught early enough and the pathogen has spread to the trunk or the majority of the branches though, it is too late to prune off the affected areas and you’ll likely need to remove the tree.

Unfortunately, palm tree stumps are one of the most difficult types to remove due to how their roots grow. Unlike other trees, palm tree roots grow horizontally and vertically. Palm tree roots grow as deep as three feet into the ground, although soil and growing conditions could mean they go as far as 50 inches into the earth.

If you want to be able to repurpose the grass in the area where you removed a stump later, you’ll have to dig quite deep—and perhaps wide—to trim away all the roots.

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.
