"What went well: -Manager was a prompt, helpful communicator -Quality of workmanship was good -Both workers were skilled -When discussing exactly how much wall to tear out and how much siding to replace he was very willing to 'do as much or little as you want.' What didn't go well: -Labor cost is appx $1/minute per worker. Both workers came and looked at the situation, then BOTH left to get supplies and were gone over 2 hours. Granted the siding to my house can be difficult to find, but since BOTH went shopping, shopping time alone cost $200. -Part of the project involved installing a dog door. When the guy went to install it, it was missing piece, so I had to go to PetSmart and buy another one. When I left, he said, "I guess I'll just sit in my truck until you get back." I said, "You could cut the sheetrock or bead board." I was only gone about 20 minutes, and when I got back, the garage where the sheetrock and bead board were stored was still closed and he was not at the work area. Pretty sure that smoking break cost me $20. -Later that day, I didn't hear any activity for about 20 minutes and saw them on a smoke break. $40 smoke break. There were other smoke breaks as well, and I understand they need a little break, but 20 min seemed excessive. Perhaps they should have take a formal lunch break. -The day after they left, I went to paint and found about half the nail holes not caulked and part of the sheetrock work was lumpy and not sanded. Conclusion: Overall nice job, but due to the unfinished work and extra cost, I wouldn't use them again."

"We absolutely loved how our home turned out. Ideal Siding was the absolute most professional and thoughtful company we have worked with. The owner Michael was so responsive, easy to work with and detail oriented. His entire crew was also amazing. They double and triple checked every area they worked on ensuring each cut for the cement board was perfect. He is not a pushy sales person at all. In fact he will tell you only what you need, which is completely different from the other siding contractors. The craftsmanship was amazing and the crew left zero mess. I have gotten so many compliments on my home, and it brings me so much joy to come home everyday to a beautifully sided house. I would highly recommend Ideal Siding. They are fair from start to finish and extremely professional. I want to say a huge thanks for such an amazing experience and beautiful sided home. As one neighbor said to me, your home is a “show-stopper”!"
