These guys might have looked low tech , but they came to work . The 5 foot deep , 2 foot wide 30 feel of length channel to the foundation was done in 6 hours . I was very happy and a bit shocked . The wall was cleaned thoroughly and sealed up . French drain was installed and everything backfilled . Weather slowed us down ( rain ) But still it was all a memory in 5 days . So they (really just one guy) installed a catch basin and drain to the backyard. We haven't had a rain since, so can't comment on overall quality yet. But I did wash the driveway and the water went to the backyard. They came in at about half price as another company offering the same work. We put a 50% deposit down for work, after he gave us an estimated completion date of within 3 days. He came to the job site exactly when he said he would come. This job required hand wheel-barrowing 3 yards of concrete to the back porch and finishing the concrete with a brush finish. They put an expansion joint around the enclosed patio and plastic up the walls so the concrete would not make a mess on the walls.
