"I would like to thank Alpine and especially Drew Krueger, the service technician, for warning us about the potential danger of the 22 year old Carrier HVAC unit that we owned. The system had a gas pack that was original to the system which had never needed service, was quietly coming apart. I have been very concerned about our unit because I have heard of their potential to leak gas and kill families when they get older. Drew Krueger showed me the seams on the gas pack (I am not totally sure about the correct terminology) were starting to split open. And I know, you know what the end result could have been.
