"Luis and his team came to my home and we're very professional and quiet, I kept forgetting they were there. They corrected a terrible paint job that myself and a friend did. I will definitely call him back to finish the rest of my home."

Small jobs welcome

"One of the best contractors i've ever hired. The same day I called they came and took a look at my project. They typed up a terrific contract and began working for us. The paint job they did was unbelievable. They were so quick and through it was downright impressive. The care they took to tape everything up each day and then clean up at night was perfect. You could cook in my kitchen each night if we had wanted to. I would rate him at a hundred stars if I could and I highly recommend this professional."

"These guys are GOOD. Neighbors and friends have commented how they cannot see the seems in the wallpaper at all. These guys have an eye for persnickety customers like me, and I approve. That takes a lot, coming from me."

"I purchased the "deal" that provided the use of two painters for a day.  Because of the prep work, all of the painting could not be finished in one day.  I then paid for a second day.  But, they were still unable to complete all of the work.  The small toilet area was not painted at all nor were the skylights.  Mike, overall, did an excellent job because he is an excellent painter.  He is also a clean painter in that he cleans up the work area and doesn't leave a big mess at the end of the job.   He has a positive, "can do" professional attitude, along with a desire to please the customer.  I was just disappointed that they were unable to complete the job in a two day time period. So, in order to get the project finished, I will now have to pay for a third day.  Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but I think two painters ought to be able to paint a bathroom and a bedroom in two days.
I will continue to use Mike and his company for my painting needs because he is a great painter.  But, for future reference, I will get a better understanding of the length of the job and the total cost of the job before beginning.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

If you need a stronger magnetic surface, or you need to use a different type of paint in the room (like waterproof paint in a damp basement), there are other accessible options. You could fit a steel panel over the wall, try magnetic wallpaper, or apply chalk paint instead.

If you want an inexpensive shortcut, hang a pinboard or chalkboard on your wall. These removable options are ideal if you’re a renter who can’t repaint or plan to move in the near future.

Having dated, peeling, or otherwise damaged wallpaper can decrease the value of your property, so removing that before listing your house is nearly always a good idea; however, since wallpaper tends to be a personal style choice, potential buyers may or may not love your aesthetic as much as you do.

Love the look of wallpaper but want to consider property value as well? Stick with something that is easy to change. If you are thinking of selling soon, make sure your wallpaper hanging is on-point and looks professional with no crooked seams, evenly matched patterns, and minimal bubbling or other imperfections.

Accent walls have been a popular decor choice over the past two decades, and they don’t seem to be going out of style any time soon. They’re a quick and easy way to change the mood of the room without committing to painting every wall, and many homeowners like the visual interest they add to a room.

No, you don’t need to apply paint primer to your wall before hanging paintable wallpaper. Manufacturers design paintable wallpaper so that the paint will adhere effectively, so primer isn’t necessary. Plus, even if you opt for a light shade of paint, you won’t have to worry about the shade underneath showing through because you are painting on a light, white surface.

One of the biggest downsides to peel-and-stick wallpaper is that it doesn't last as long as traditional wallpaper. Its lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the paper, proper wall preparation and application, and the room's conditions. As a general rule, peel-and-stick wallpaper can last for at least five years, but this can vary significantly. Budget products may only last about 3 years, while higher-quality products can stay up for 7 years or more in ideal conditions. Factors that can shorten its lifespan include high humidity (such as in a bathroom), dirty walls, and low-quality paper. If used on flooring, expect it to last only 1 to 3 years unless sealed. However, the shorter lifespan can be seen as a positive, making it a great choice for people who enjoy switching up their interiors more frequently.
