Nelson and his crew were very professional and on time. Shared what they were doing to each room. Moved the furniture and covered the floors, put everything back and left my house cleaner than when they started. Very enjoyable to talk and work with them.

We contacted Nelson after finding his business through Angi. We were in a time crunch to get our ceiling fixed up since we are in the process of selling our home and we are wanted to get the house on the market ASAP. We hired Calix Painting to remove popcorn ceilings and paint interior of our house. We are very, very pleased with the final results. Nelson is a very skilled craftsman in sheetrock and paint. He goes well beyond the normal to make sure the job is done right and that we were pleased with it. We were not looking forward to the disruption of normal life by the process, but the way Calix approached our 2-story house in different stations, completed each station before moving to the next station and kept everything organized and clean made the house very livable while they worked. This company painted my living room, dining room and foyer. They put up crown molding in all three plus the kitchen and added a chair rail to the dining room. They also did some exterior painting. They were meticulous started and finished on schedule and reasonably priced. I would hire them again and strongly recommend them.

Being new to the Cayton area we didn't have anyone we knew to remove the popcorn ceilings and wallpaper in our recently purchased home. We read reviews of different companies and Calix stood out with the many positive reviews. After hiring Nelson and working with him on this and another subsequent project I can say without a doubt he's the best we've worked with. It's amazing how clean he keeps things during this very messy popcorn ceiling removal. He's a perfectionist and it shows in the quality of his work. He also gets back with you when he says he will and shows up on the agreed upon time (which is unique these days). We will definitely hire him again on any drywall and painting project.

Nelson is a very conscientious carpenter. We had him do a couple of jobs for us. He removed popcorn from bathroom ceiling. It turned out great. He also repaired walls and painted 3 rooms for us. All of his work is top quality, he went above and beyond our expectations. We will call him again for any work we need done.

I understand why Calix Painting is very busy! Never have I had work done in my home where the area stayed organized and clean throughout the entire 4 days that they worked here. One of the days it rained and they put down a towel to prevent tracking water in on my hardwood floor and carpet. Not only did I have to have part of my ceiling removed and replaced, but the entire room also needed to be painted. The paint job was huge but the results are absolutely phenomenal. Not a 'mistake' in sight and it is perfect. The transition from the main room color to the accent wall is so well executed. They did little things, such as cleaning the wall plates, that shocked me and it was just 1 of the many 'special touches' that I appreciated. The cost of the job was extremely fair, considering the scope, it did not exceed my budget, and his estimate on how long to finish the job was right on time! The professionalism, work ethic, and job execution are top level and they deserve more than just 5 stars!!! I will definitely be contacting Calix Painting Corp for future drywall and painting projects as I prepare my house to be put on the market. Calix Painting Corp is an A+ company. They go above & beyond what is required. We had popcorn ceiling removal & the ceilings are beautiful. They have specialized equipment to do the job. They tape/plastic everything to protect your home.& putty. Thereâ s a lot of ceiling work to be done after the popcorn is removed. . My husband says they are the most professional painters he has ever seen. They are very friendly. After about a month with us, they seem like family.

We hired Calix Painting to renovate 3 bedrooms in our 40 year old house. They did an excellent job! Removed popcorn ceiling, replaced all the trim, baseboards, door casings, and painted the rooms and closet doors. The results are perfection. In addition to quality work, Calix Painting takes care to protect your home. The preparation for popcorn removal kept dust to a minimum. They clean up each day before they leave. No loud music is played while they work. Very punctual, polite, detailed oriented, and good communicators. We are very please with their work and highly recommend them! These guys are top notch! Communication was excellent throughout the process and the attention to detail was fantastic. They patched and painted our 3bd 2bth and 750sq ft (1800sq ft) house and did an amazing job on ceilings, walls snd doors! The price was extremely fair for the work that was done. We will be using them again for future projects and you should too!

The guys did a phenomenal job. Repaired the damage done to the living room ceiling from a leak, painted ceiling and most of the interior of the house. Exceptional professional job. The crew were meticulous about covering surfaces and floors to protect and went as far as to correct a bad prior job of trim painting which I hadnâ t included in the job. Friendly and courteous team. The job was finished on time and looks amazing. Great service and value. Will definitely be using them again in the future and highly recommend.

They take great pride in their work and it shows in all they did for us. They were very detailed and did not cut any corners- they did what needed to be done to as close to perfection as possible. We had popcorn ceiling removed, walls painted, crown molding installed, and kitchen cabinets painted. We had a lot of stained wood (chair rails, wainscoting, door frames and some doors) and it took a lot of prepping before they could paint. They fixed imperfections in the Sheetrock on walls before painting also. They were recommended to me by another company and I was told they are the best at removing popcorn ceiling. I think they are the best in ALL AREAS of their work! They arrived every day with smiles and were very polite and kept us informed on what they planned to do each week so that we were prepared. If I could give them a rating of 10 I most definitely would!

The finished project was very detailed and quality work. We are very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The owner takes a great deal of pride in his work and they go out of their way to clean up daily. We are very pleased!!!
