"A" for techs work, knowledge, personality

"F" for charge for capacitor....Charged $179.00 for capacitor

$6 to $7 on internet, $8 to $10 at Home Depot / Lowes, $5 to $15  on "Angie's List" ( 8 best out of 44 answers on....           How much  does it cost for a capacitor to be installed in a home AC unit? )

1093% markup on $15.00 part...

Office Manager said that was a flat rate charge for that part which was changed out in less than 5 minutes. Had on truck because this was a very common, standard demand fix on AC units.  I told tech at installation that $179.00 sounded high for the capacitor.

Office Manager did not have a flat rate book in the office, said all books out in the field, so could not verify the charge.

100% markup on parts is standard on most industries, but I don't appreciate being taken for over 1000%

"Heat pump actually needs to be replaced. Tech showed me video and testing he performed. And why my heat pump was not working. Got up to a cold house this morning. Tried everything I knew to get the house warmer. Called ARS, the scheduled tech and he showed up the same day. I will have to wait for new heat pump to come in. I am satisfied with service so far."

"Josh of Hurricane Air did a great job at a substantially less cost than my first quote. He was quick, efficient, and explained everything I needed to know. I would strongly recommend this pro."

"It was very much needed. Never had my air ducts cleaned before, a bit pricey but well worth it!"

"We've been using this HVAC company at our restaurant, Curry and Noodle in Winston-Salem, and we couldn't be happier. Running a busy kitchen means our heating and cooling systems take a real beating, and Chris has been nothing short of amazing. He shows up on time, communicates clearly, and always makes sure everything is running perfectly before he leaves. It's rare to find someone who treats your business like it's their own — but that's exactly how Chris makes you feel. Highly recommend to any business owner in the area looking for reliable, honest HVAC service!"

"Their work quality was excellent, kind customer service. Their prices were very fair, overall it was a good experience and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who asks! They do all kinds of services... from HVAC to repair, even carpentry work! This company is amazing, they really DO IT ALL, as their name itself implies... I needed a lot of help in my home, and this company provided stellar help."

"We came home on a Thursday evening and our Air Conditioning was not working. I called Quality HVAC/R hoping that someone would be able to come out the next morning. Ryland answered the phone and said that he would come out that evening. An hour later he was at my house. He checked a few things and figured out what the problem was. He fixed the problem and within 30 minutes our home was cooling down and becoming comfortable again. I recommend Quality HVAC/R to anyone who needs service of this kind!"

"Richie provided us with great service in a situation where we really needed it. Our long-term HVAC contractor told us on the day we needed them to do a repair on a 90+-degree day that they were no longer servicing businesses, despite the fact that we had an existing service agreement with months left on it. Air Serv sent Richie out that day and he completed the repair to get our medical office back on track for our patients' and employees' as well as tenants' comfort."
