I’m a skilled handyman with years of hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, woodworking, RV repair, camper building, and general property maintenance. I previously worked at Hicks Electric and hold a degree in Electrical Systems, giving me a strong background in safe, reliable electrical repairs and installations.\n\nOver the years, I’ve built campers, repaired RVs, and handled a wide range of residential and commercial repair projects. I also own and maintain an RV park, so I understand the importance of quality work, dependable service, and getting the job done right the first time.\n\nWhether you need help with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, repairs, maintenance, or general handyman projects, I take pride in honest communication, clean workmanship, and treating every customer’s property with respect.

"Very thorough and very pleased. They replaced facia that had been damaged by local critters, I then went on to have them replace my gutters and install leaf guard. They coordinated all of their work with my painters and installed the new gutters very professionally. After installation, the job site was cleaned up."

"It went well, I just feel I was ripped off on the price charged. I did not know how minor the roof work would be and there was no credit for the wood rot work being so minor."

"They drove out immediately after receiving my request for a quote (which was reasonable), despite the long distance and late time of day. They then returned bright and early the very next morning to do a job that "wasn't enough" for 2 other companies to bother with (painting caps over windows/garage door). Exceptionally professional and did a great job (especially since they had to fight off an unexpected wasp nest as well). I would definitely recommend them."

"Tom and his 2-man crew first moved furniture and removed flooring. His crew did most of the flooring installation while Tom personally rebuilt our stairs mostly by himself. The banister was done last. Tom and the crew worked together on the banister.
From start to finish the job took 4 work days (5 days total -- New Years Day was between days 3 & 4).
Tom and his crew have an excellent work ethic. They worked hard the whole time. They worked together extremely well. They went out of their way to make sure my wife and I were pleased. They cleaned up after each day's work as much as possible and tried to disrupt our home as little as possible.
The stairs took much more time/work than anticipated but he did not charge any extra. His estimate was what he charged.
We also have a 75 gallon aquarium that with its stand weighs about 1000 pounds which had to be moved. I removed about 40 gallons of water and about 35 of the 75 pounds of gravel reducing the overall weight by about 400 pounds. Tom went out of his way to come up with a solution to move the still 500+ pound unit. We (Tom & his crew really) were able to successfully lift it onto a wheeled platform he built for it without cracking or breaking it. (All 31 fish survived the week-long ordeal even though they barely had enough water to cover the tall ones.)
We highly recommend Tom Nagle.

"The quality of the work was excellent. The old boards were installed on the diagonal so the cuts on the new boards had to be precisely made. The reason I downgraded the review was that a patio table had to be moved to the side of the deck but when we arrived home we found that it had not been returned in its original position. That's not a big deal, but shows a lack of attention to detail. What bothered us more was that an empty pack of cigarettes was left in the driveway and several cigarette butts were found in the yard and on the driveway. That shows disrespect for the homeowner's property."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Video surveillance monitoring: $40–$65 per month

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.
Yes, a home security system can be worth it for your peace of mind alone, but it can also save you up to 20% on your home insurance. The insurance savings will help defray the initial setup costs and subscription costs over time. Locations with higher crime rates also make home security systems a valuable investment, but it ultimately depends on your personal preferences and asset values.
Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed HVAC technician could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
