Renu energy installed solar panels on my house they did a great job recommend them

They did a great job start to finish. Their bid was the most comprehensive and the lowest price. They took care of all the permits and started the install on schedule as promised. The installation was quick and they answered all my questions

I was not repairing anything, there was no option to say that I was having a solar power system installed. Renu made the process of getting solar with battery backup so quick and easy. And with the rebate I got from Duke Energy ($9000), plus the refund I'll get on my taxes (probably close to another $9000), and the $53 credit on my bill every month from Duke for the PowerPair program, going solar was a no-brainer. The people at Renu were so friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend.

I had my system installed in 2018 by Renu. The installation process went smoothly, though I missed out on some of the expected rebate from Duke Energy due to the specific equipment that was selected. My experience of customer service after installation has been extremely poor. I have encountered bounced emails, unreturned voicemails, and a lack of follow-ups. I had an inverter failure under warranty and had to handle the warranty claim myself because I could not get a response from Renu. I have not had system monitoring now for several years because Renu has not updated the monitoring information and I can not restore monitoring myself since Renu is the administrator of my system.

Renu Energy did an amazing job installing solar panels, quick and quality work. Price is the best in space, and I did my research and out of all the quotes, like 10+. they beat everyone out. Moved quickly and went through all the processes and approvals fast, taking less than 4-weeks for the whole thing to be wrapped up and done! Highly recommend if you want a solid company with the best team to do your solar panel project.

In 2017 I was exploring the possibility of adding solar panels to our house. I contacted Renu Energy Solutions because of their reputation. They were responsive, quick, friendly, and analytic in their approach. I needed some trees near the house taken down anyway, and they needed to come down if solar panels went up. I also needed a new roof. Renu bundled all three projects together to save me time, coordination, and money. Everything was handled professionally. The panels have not needed any work since. I enjoy the savings on my electric bill that the two sets of panels provide.

They were incredibly responsive when it came to making the big money on the install. Itâ s very lackluster after that. They damaged my home during the install. I fixed the water leak and the cracked cap shingles on the roof. I emailed them explaining what happened. I called it a teachable moment and asked them to talk to the install crew about how this could have been prevented. I never go a reply. I called and spoke to someone about my email and they promised to pass along my message. Never heard a word. Two times my system has failed and needed repair. Each time the repair process took over 30 days. Never because of parts, they just always seem overwhelmed in the service department. To be fair, the repair prices were very reasonable.

I shopped around with 5 different companies. Renu was the best in terms of covering questions, having the best materials and equipment and their pricing was great. The install went perfectly and weâ ve been saving ever since. Highly recommend Renu Energy!

They Communicate well do what they say they will do

Working with the Renu Energy team was an absolute pleasure start to finish! Their customer service, product quality, and team efficiency were exponentially better than any other company.

We purchased a solar system from RENU after interviewing 3 other companies. RENUs offer was fair and very competitive. They provided a turn key installation within 90 days. Everything from design drawings, permits, and commissioning. RENU assigned a project manager who managed the project and kept us informed of all progress in the process. Our system went live in early November. It has operated flawlessly and saved us money each month. I highly recommend RENU.

I am extremely happy with my experience with Renu. This is a fairly complicated project, and Renu made it easy from beginning to end. I started the process of purchasing solar and two Tesla PowerWalls in March of 2022, the 25 solar panels were installed over a two day period at the end of May, and we finally received approval from Duke to energize the solar system in early July. The PowerWalls were installed over one day in the beginning of October(there is quite a long wait time for those right now - that has nothing to do with Renu). The overall installation is clean and professional looking, and they listened to my questions and requests regarding routing of conduit and placement of equipment, and did everything possible to make me happy. They handled all of the permitting, inspections, and coordinations with Duke, while keeping me in the loop the entire time. The first thing that made Renu different was the sales process - they were not pushy. Instead of trying to push me into whatever configuration and loan they decided was right for me, they started by asking â What do you want to achieve with solar?â Every other installer I spoke with were mainly interested in throwing just enough panels on my roof to cover my current usage and getting me into a 25 year loan, and then maybe giving me more attic insulation, or a â freeâ Nest thermostat. I even had a salesperson tell me(regarding batteries) â oh you donâ t want or need those, weâ ll just put a natural gas generator next to your house, it will be cheaper and betterâ . Renu listened to me, geeked out with me, and then worked WITH me to design a system that does exactly what I want. They were extremely communicative through the entire process - their project managers are second to none in my opinion and other industries could take a lesson from them. I was in near constant contact via email and text message with their team over the entire 7 month process, and I enjoyed talking with them. Every employee I dealt with seemed to love their job and the field of renewable energy. From the sales people and project managers, to designers electricians and installers on the roof - every single person seemed to love what they do, and loved where they work - many of them had worked there for several years, which to me says something about the company. Also very important - they did not contract out any of the work to sub contractors - everyone I dealt with worked FOR Renu. Finally - the system itself works. I have not paid Duke for electricity since July 2022 - we produce roughly twice what we consume. Additionally, the two PowerWalls can power our home for over 24 hours, including air conditioning - on a sunny day they are fully charged by noon. Your experience may vary of course, but I can tell you that it can and does work! If you are considering going with solar, there are not many companies like Renu(trust me, I spoke with six others). Donâ t waste your time or money talking to anyone else - you will be happy with Renu.

Everything was handled promptly and professionally from estimate through completion of the job. I've had the system for seven months now, and I've had no problems whatsoever.

What impressed me the most was the friendliness and professionalism of every person I encountered thru the process- and they delivered. I had a lot of detailed questions about the technical aspects and they always found the right person to connect me with to get the answers. The issue of value for the money is very subjective. This equipment isn't cheap and if you're going into it solely on a payback basis it may be tough to see that value. For me it was more about developing a level of energy reliability and ability to function thru potential grid interruptions. To get there I invested in the Tesla Powerwalls as a compliment to my solar equipment. I feel the installation I have is high quality and robust enough to give me what I was seeking.
