"Great Plumbing Service! Had a great experience with All good plumbing I had a leaky pipe under my sink, and they got it fixed quickly. Scheduling was easy, and they showed up on time, which I really appreciated. The plumber was super friendly and explained everything clearly before getting started. The repair didn’t take long, and they made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Plus, they cleaned up after themselves, which was a nice bonus. Overall, really happy with the service! Fair pricing, great work, and no stress. Would definitely call them again if I ever need a plumber. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Had other options but I got lucky with the experienced plumber sent to my house. In 2018 Ben Franklin plumbing made huge mistakes on a new water line install and made a mess of everything. Mr. Rooter was able to quickly identify and fix the problem with my main water line for thousands less than other big national chains."

"Dexter contacted me almost immediately on a weekend after I requested plumbing services through Home Advisor. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced a garbage disposal that was causing a water backup in my sink when I ran the water. He cleaned up after he finished the job and left my kitchen as he had found it. Thanks Dexter! I will definitely hire you again and recommend you to others as well."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

After plumbing work in Concord, NC, it's important to schedule annual maintenance such as flushing your water heater, inspecting for leaks, and testing shut-off valves. Each fall, insulate exposed pipes and disconnect outdoor hoses to prevent freezing, a common local issue. In spring, check for freeze-related damage. Following Concord plumbing inspection recommendations helps ensure your system remains reliable year-round.

Helpful?

For plumbing work in Concord, NC, most installations, replacements, or major repairs require a plumbing permit issued by Concord Development Services. Inspections are mandatory at both rough-in and final stages, as outlined by the Concord Plumbing Code. Only licensed professionals can obtain permits for significant projects. For guidance on your specific project, contact Concord Code Enforcement or refer to the North Carolina State Building Code for detailed requirements.

Helpful?

For plumbing work in Concord, NC, PEX and copper are popular choices for water supply lines due to their durability and suitability for the region's temperature fluctuations. PVC is commonly used for drainage, while CPVC is suitable for hot water lines. When selecting materials, consider the age of your home and local water quality. Consult with a licensed Concord plumber for recommendations that meet Concord plumbing code standards.

Helpful?

During plumbing work in Concord, NC, homeowners may encounter unexpected costs related to code-required upgrades, permit or inspection fees, and repairs to walls or floors after pipe access. Additional expenses can arise if outdated plumbing is discovered or if utility line location is necessary. Discussing these possibilities with your contractor and reviewing Concord plumbing permit guidelines can help minimize surprises during your project.

Helpful?

In Concord, common mistakes during plumbing work include failing to obtain required permits, using materials not approved by the Concord Plumbing Code, and attempting complex repairs without a licensed professional. Ignoring local inspection requirements or neglecting to follow up on code compliance can lead to costly issues. Always consult Concord Development Services or a licensed plumber to ensure your project meets all local regulations.
