John was referred to us by trusted friends so our expectations were already high, but I have to say he exceeded them.. by a lot. We had an emergency water heater situation that turned into upgrading and replacing not only the water heater (to tankless gas) but handling a few other problematic plumbing issues in the house that I had been either putting off or just didn’t know who to ask for help. Surprisingly none of this broke the bank, which was my biggest fear in addressing all of these various issues. Service, response time, follow up were all 100% and well. He also made entirely sure that I understood the new system, where and when it needed any maintenance, and how to get ahold of him pretty much any time. A+ would recommend to literally anyone (trying to get my Mom to go tankless as we speak)

We noticed our water heater had a leak in the morning. We decided to replace it and started a search early afternoon of the same day. Fortunately, we came across with John who came to our house by the evening. He took out the old unit and installed the new one and finished most of the installation on the same day. He came back the next day to finish the job. He also contacted us the next day to follow up the next day The cost below is net of tax credit and other incentives. We are quite happy we found him.

He didn't do a good job he was so sweet and so nice. I was told I had a code violation after he did the job. He turned a short term job in to a long term job. He was also late, because he waned to go see a chiropractor. But he was very nice

Removed 20 year old water heaters. Installed tankless water heater. Very pleased with product. Plumbers were prompt, knowledgeable, explained all options available, gave us an in service of our unit after completion of installation. I feel like we received excellent value for the money. John was great! He came out to the house to offer the quote and he was the same guy that performed the job. That was important to us. I was a bit over the top in my research, as Water Heater Experts were #11 out of 14 plumbers that I had out to the house. They were the most reasonably priced for the amount of work and warranties that were going into the project. I can also appreciate that the folks who worked on the job were state licensed and Water Heater Experts required county permits and inspections. Some folks had told me that the inspections weren't necessary as inspectors are simply overworked with the amount of new construction in our area. I would definitely recommend Water Heater Experts to other folks and I will be using them again if we have any other plumbing projects in the home.

Great install, even said that costly features that other companies said we needed were not needed at all, and they explained why. I felt as though they were being honest and trustworthy. Will definitely use them again if needed.

We had a unique situation at our house that required a tankless water heater as a replacement and this meant upgrading the gas service. John at Water Heater Experts kindly and patiently guided us through the decision process and provided encouraging options for a difficult situation. He is extremely knowledgeable and is more than willing to share his plumbing wisdom. John provided us with a reasonable quote, so we went forward with installation. When it came time for installation, John kept us apprised of the schedule, was prompt; he quickly and cleanly installed the water heater. Now we have an endless supply of fresh, hot water. After consulting with four plumbing companies I decided to go with Water Heater Experts based upon their products, warranty and price. John and his team did an amazing job! From start to finish they were professional and took the time to answer any question I had. I would recommend Water Heater Experts to my family and friends without hesitation.

John is very professional and knowledgeable about this system. It was not till he finished that he actually told me that he designed it. I was present for most of the installation. He was very courteous and did not mind my many questions as I never have had a water conditioner before and wanted to understand it and be able to take care of it. The installation was meticulous. I will attach a picture. The piping was at perfect right angles and not sloppy. System is now two weeks old and is functioning well and no leaks. He took away the old tanks and cleaned up the garage as if he had never been there. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. I know I might have gotten a lower price for this installation, but I know that he will continue to give good service for any maintenance that might be required in the future and also honor what is a very complete and full warranty

Our experience was top notch from start to finish. We had a new tankless water heater installed within 9 hours of our first phone call. John was very knowledgeable, professional, took time to answer all of our questions, and his quality of work was great. I would highly recommend!

It started on Friday morning with a yell from my daughter (one of 4 I might add) that the hot water was out mid-shower. We waited a while for our old standard hot water heater to do its thing and re-produce hot water for us to continue on our day. Well that never happened. I had already made up my mind that when we needed to replace our hot water heater I was going tankless. I called a frequently used plumber of ours and when they said maybe could get someone out to see you on Monday to discuss the tankless solutions, I said thanks but no thanks. As a result I opened up the Angie's list app and began as I always do to begin researching top rated experts in the area of tankless hot water heaters. Plumbing Experts LLC (Water Heater Experts) was not my first call but after the first 3 calls went into voice mail I next tried Plumbing Experts LLC. John Gallagher answered the phone immediately and I explained my problem. He listened tentatively and then we discussed a few possible options in the world of tankless heaters. Then he said, well we are pretty booked up today and I thought to myself here we go again. After saying that John, who turns out owns the company, said I will squeeze you in and be over early evening after wrapping up other jobs. John arrived early evening and my wife and I met with him about our situation. John listened and asked us a number of questions about hot water usage, etc and then made a recommendation based on the number of bathrooms, number of people, number of items using hot water at once. After discussing the options and his recommended solution he shared his pricing which we thought was reasonable for the work involved. Then I figured when next week will he be able to do this and what do I do about no hot water until then? So I asked the questions, "When can you do the job?" John quickly replied I will be there tomorrow with one of my guys and we will get it done for you Saturday during the day. John and Josh showed up on Saturday morning and tore out the old tank and installed our new Rinnai 199 RUR. It was a long day for them both but we were very appreciative. The unit is now up and running and never have to worry about no hot water even when all showers are going at the same time. We cannot recommend John Gallagher and Hot Water Heaters (Plumbing Experts LLC) enough! They have become our one stop shop for all our plumbing needs. John exceeded all of our expectations and that is not easy to do.

Fantastic!!!! John is simply the best! Kind hearted, extremely knowledgable, and genuine! He came out on the Sunday before Christmas! My in laws were in town and our traditional water heater completely broke (no hot water with the in laws.... daughter in laws nightmare...haha). Fortunately john saved the day! So thankful for him and his team! He worked until the job was done and never once seemed like he didnt want to be here! So professional!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

John was excellent. Very meticulous and thorough. Very neat install. He was low pressure when doing the quote, unlike several others which I appreciated. I also requested install of an intake air pipe from outside the garage where we were replacing the old tank water heater. This is not strictly needed by code. John agreed to do this and completed the install in one day. We had a small leak discovered one day later and John promptly came and addressed the issue. Even the inspector commented on the neatness of the install. Will use them again if we need any work done on the water heater.

While John was not the first guys we called about our search for a replacement for our Rinnai, he was the one we felt the most comfortable in knowing, that he knew about the Rinnai and what would work best. We had several others that showed up, and just looked at what we had, then told us that they could replace it with a new direct replacement model and then they gave us a card and a price off the top of their heads and left again. I kind of felt like they just needed me to make a payment for their New SuperDuty and didn't give two hoots about fixing our old one or upgrading what we had. Then John from Water Heater Experts showed up. He told me the good and bad things about just repairing the model that we had and what it would cost. When I asked him about a new model replacement, he showed me what was available on his ipad and the prices, plus some of the Upgraded models and what the benefits would be versus what we had at this time. Now my wife and I have been Very happy with Rinnai since we first built our house, and didn't even consider changing brands, since there were others out there now. John told us what was available and what he has seen in the industry. He talked to us about how his company offers a better warranty then the other guys, his other services that his company offers to extend the life of our Rinnai, Which by the way, the "Original Installer" of our First Rinnai NEVER told us about!! We were kind of ****** that this information was never conveyed to us at that time. But John told us what his company does and how they have tested other things to make a more informed decision on what is best for what he offers. In the end, we decided to go with John of Water Heater Experts, even though it was more than what the others were selling. John's services that came with our new Rinnai, the more efficient unit that we upgraded to, plus his professionalism, In Our Book, fell into the arena of, You Get What You Pay For!! It has been about 3 months now since John was here to install our New Upgraded Rinnai system and we are Very Pleased with it. Even though it is a bit bigger than our last one, we have already noticed the greatly improved heating efficiency of this unit, plus a reduction in propane usage. Because of how we were impressed with John and his company, we are now having him come out to help us with an upgraded water filter system, since we have a well and Duke power has been doing a lot of bad things with their coal ash lately, and we just want to be sure we aren't getting any remnants of that in our water.

After getting a quote from Home Depot that the plumbing reconnect/disconnect before my new flooring was installed would be $1200, I started looking for a plumber. I found one, and let’s just say that experience was a disaster. I then was on the hunt for another, I reached out to John, and he immediate came to my rescue. I have been in way over my head with this project, and for the first time it actually felt like someone was there to help and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. I am replacing all of the toilets in my home, and John will for sure be the first person I call.

It went extremely well. When I first called, John discussed replacement options with me. The electric tank water heater that had failed was located in our crawlspace. I was interested in replacing our electric tank heater with an electric tankless, but John recommended against that. He then did some research to see if a propane tankless heater might be feasible. He then called back later that same day and indicated propane would cost the same as electric to operate, with much higher up front cost. Ultimately, we decided to replace the failed electric tank heater, along with a second tank heater of the same age that had not yet failed, with a single electric tank. John came out and did the installation of the new tank heater, which also involved the removal of the second tank water heater and the associated replumbing. John also noticed issues with galvanized components on our well system, and replaced the old fixtures with newer brass ones. All the work was done with a high degree of competency and professionalism. John took the time to explain everything as the work progressed, and ensured I understood what he was doing before he did it. I was extremely satisfied, so I will be using Water Heater Experts for any future water heater needs I have. I will also use Plumbing Experts, the sister company to Water Heater Experts, for any future plumbing needs that arise. I highly recommend you do the same.

The entire process was handled very professional and compassionately, considering, I was in a very stressful mode by the time I was blessed in finding Mr. John on Angie's list. John the owner, took extremely good care of my waterheater issue. The wealth of knowledge he shared helped in my decision to replace current waterheater with tankless system. He was punctual and professional relating to permits, scheduling, and final approvals. He was a great source to talk with about other home issues I was having. By the end... Thanks to Mr. John and his resources... my water heater, garage door, garbage disposal and my air conditioning are already professionally scheduled and done.

While we have lived in our new home less than a year and a half, we have been suffering with water quality and pressure issues since day one. John explained how the Rinnai system, while initially expensive, would pay for itself in the long run. We now have a system that works more reliably and efficiently than before. When coupled with our new water filtration system, we now enjoy cleaner, more consistently pressurized water. We also look forward to lower water heating costs going forward! And John installed the whole system in less than one day!
