  • Chris's Clean Cut Tree Service
    5.0
I reached out to Chris late one evening when he was working at a neighbors house. He was finishing up their job and I asked if he could cut a few overhanging tree limbs in my driveway and basketball goal. He came right over that same evening and knocked out the work for us at a very reasonable price even though I know they were tired from working at our neighbors. Very thankful for their service and helping right away. Would highly recommend

They provided a great estimate. Just went with a company with a lower price. Absolutely the best customer service.

Keith and his partner are awesome. They went above and beyond for our work request. Keith also was extremely helpful in coming up with the best way to save us money and get the job done. Will definitely hire again for future work.

  • Southern Accents Landscape Design Inc
    5.0
Jonathan did a wonderful job. He was a pleasure to work with. Added sod, irrigation and ornamental plants to my front and back yard. He replaced damaged irrigation heads. He is doing another project for us next week. Adding new beds along the driveway and trimming and pruning all our bushes. Very knowledgeable. Not pushy and has many good inexpensive ideas. We have recommended him to many of our friends. Glad we found him!

  • Arbor Plus Tree Experts

These guys were great! they showed up on time, worked hard all day and completed the job as agreed. I had three trees located in a very tight space between two houses. Keith made quick work of the them. He had downed them safely and efficiently by lunchtime, without hitting either house with a single limb. Yard clean up was also great. From the front of the house you would not know that they were ever here. I was very happy with them and would certainly hire again without hesitation

  • Gonzalez Tree Care

They looked at the trees and quoted me a price and took off what I paid for the Big Deal. I thought I would be receiving the full 4 hours. But other than that the service was fine.

  • Molina's Tree Service and Landscaping
    5.0
Incredibly efficient and professional job. We had a huge tree that had partially fallen and was wedged into other trees. This type of tree removal is both very difficult and dangerous. It had been hard to find a professional to return my calls due to the extreme damage caused by Hurricane Florence, but Luis returned my call and visited my site the same afternoon. The work performed was absolutely top notch. The crew consulted with me from the very start to minimize damage to the yard from the equipment being used. It was amazing to watch the skill used in felling the major tree and to do so with a very large mobile crane. Everyone showed a great deal of skill and work ethic and took major pains to clean-up the yard following completion. I would use this company again absolutely and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing this type of service

  • Tony's Affordable Tree Service
    5.0
This is the 3rd time we've use Tony's Tree Service, and we really can't say enough about how careful and concerned they are about our house and land. Or how nice everyone on the crew was, and how well they worked together. They worked from 8:30 am to 6:00 PM, leaving our side yard looking better than it was before the storm by grinding stumps from previous removals they hadn't done, and leveling everything. They also put a tarp over the roof damage for us, really going above and beyond in everyway, and then meticulously cleaning everything that they worked on

  • Eddie's Tree Service
    5.0
I've had many, many trees removed from my property since I've owned it, and never had the same company back twice. Eddie's will be my go-to company going forward: prices are very competitive; the crew is professional and polite; and the work is quality (felling, stump grinding and clean-up).

  • Alex's Tree Service

One limb that they were going to cut fell by itself prior to their arrival. They agreed to cut another limb overhanging in back yard. This turned out to be a lot more work than other limb. Grass has recovered and is growing again in front yard and better in back.

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
