"Out of the ten companies I researched Brinker Tree and Land Service was selected because Jason Brinker's communications was excellent and explained his services in organized detail. On arrival Jason and Phoenyx conducted themselves very professionally. The work conducted was very organized and excellent. They were friendly and great to be around. Safety was a priority when calculating measures. These are contractors that will discuss any of your questions in great detail until you are satisfied. Brinker Tree and Land Service is Affordable versus the ten other companies I researched and interviewed. From start to finish Time was minimized due to their assets. You can even watch them perform their skills. I made a video I will be posting on their Facebook Web Page . Highly Recommended. https://www.facebook.com/Brinker-Tree-Service-103190127842068"

"I had asked for an estimate and Sean showed up the next day. Since I was not ready for the job until a few weeks later, I called Sean and he and his crew showed up within two hours. It was a big job removing several large trees and stump grinding, including a ver large and tall dead pine, that my prior contractor failed to return and finish. The pine was in a thicket of old established ornament species and they were able to avoid any damage. The crew stayed late to finish the work."

"Great experience working with Samuel and Alberto. I had them check some bushes on both of the Lansdowne entrances signs that developed mold, and they handled everything professionally from start to finish. The bushes were large (around 8 ft) with big stumps, and they removed them carefully and efficiently. Fair pricing and helped with the cracked left the edge on the neighborhood sign. Highly recommend."

"We had a fantastic experience working with Patrick from Christie Construction Services. Within 24hrs of submitting a request for a quote, Patrick reached out to schedule a time to come out and discuss the project. Patrick's communication and responsiveness throughout couldn't have been better. Project costs and progress were made very transparent and any questions I had were answered thoroughly. Patrick also volunteered his knowledge and expertise on additional improvements that we could do ourselves to further enhance our landscaping and drainage challenges on our property. This was very much appreciated as we live in a tough location and have a limited budget. He went above and beyond to help resolve the drainage issues we hired him to address and then some. The level of customer service can't be beat; not only does Christies know their stuff, but they are just genuinely great people! It was a pleasure working with Patrick and co., we will absolutely be hiring them again for our future landscaping and property improvement needs. Our new and improved driveway turned out great!"

I’m Christian. I have been working in all or some fields that u have read for 35 years. Born into a family of Masons. I’m a third generation mason in my family. I specialize in hardscapes and landscaping but not limited to any type of masonry work. I have a window screen repair company currently. Moves into the area little less than a year ago. Trying to figure out what I want to do down here in North Carolina. I learned everything I know from doing and watching work side by side with my dad, uncle and my older brother. Anyway I’m available to work. Ready to take care of someone’s project large or small no matter what it is.

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Tree roots can take weeks to years to die, depending on the method you use. Chemical herbicides take the least amount of time—typically between three and four weeks—while homemade methods, like covering an old stump with leaves, could take between seven and eight years. If you’re unsure which method to use or how quickly you need to act, consulting with a pro is always a good idea.

Yes, burning wood with Dutch elm disease is a safer way to dispose of it than, say, tossing it in with the rest of your yard waste, which could potentially allow it to spread to healthy trees. But it’s always a good idea to check with your local government to make sure you’re complying with any ordinances about removing diseased trees as well as burning brush piles.

Absolutely. These steps are significantly easier, too, especially when it comes to preserving the root ball and moving the palm tree. However, you will want to make sure the tree has plenty of fertilizer to establish itself and start growing. Supports may also be more important, as it can take extra time for a potted palm to spread out its roots. If you are transferring a palm to another pot, you’ll want to move up a size or two to a larger pot. Make sure the pot has excellent drainage to keep the palm from getting waterlogged.

Dead trees are dangerous for several reasons. They are structurally compromised and prone to branch or trunk failure, which can pose a significant safety risk to people, vehicles, and nearby structures. Dead trees can also harbor pests like termites, which may spread to other trees or your home. If a tree died from a disease, it could spread the illness to healthy trees. Additionally, the dry wood is highly flammable, increasing fire risk.

Completely topping a plum tree is a risky business. Cut too much, and you’ll kill your tree. That said, you do need to trim the top of your tree to encourage bushy growth, maintain your tree’s vase shape, and limit size.

A plum tree's central leader (or trunk) should never extend more than 3 feet above the highest branch. When you first plant your tree, cut the central leader so it’s 2 to 3 feet tall. As it grows, cut it back 12 to 20 inches until it reaches its desired height. Never prune more than one-third of the new growth.
